The Reveal

Ming's POV

The first thing I am aware of when I get my senses back is the blinding pain in my head and the slight numbness on the left side of my face. Then, I open my eyes to see Mulan next to me, with a medic.. in a tent... I narrow my eyes. 'What in the hell on earth happened?' I think to myself before trying to sit up.

The medic quickly rushes me to lay back down, saying something that I can't really understand. I start to remember mostly everything that happened before this, my eyes widening, "Did we get him?" I ask.

I see Mulan smile, "Yeah Ming we did." The medic softly smiles. He proceeds to give me some water he had and looks more into my wounds. I then start to hear footsteps, as though someone is pacing outside the tent like an animal.

The medic snaps in my face so I'll look toward him, I furrow my brows now just noticing how blurry everything is on my left side. "How are you feeling?" The medic questions, putting his hand on my shoulder. "I- I feel.. fine? Just a headache." He nods with my reply. "I gave you some pain medication to help with that. How about your eye? That's gonna surely scar and cause some problems for you."

"I mean, everything's blurry out of that eye, but I'm sure it will be fine." The medic shakes his head, but doesn't really tell me anything else about it, standing up. I give him a confused look, like isn't he supposed to tell me what the fuck that head shake means?? Like why is he walking away???

The medic walks out of the tent and the footsteps stop. "Bitch." I mumble to myself before looking at Mulan.

Mulan gives me a small smile, but there's something behind it I can't really make out. I look down at her body, covered by a light brown blanket, and my eyes widen again. "Mulan.."

Before I can continue, Shang walks in, seeming to be in a hurry. My heart starts to speed up in fear for my sister as her dumbass looks away from me to softly smile at Shang before sitting up. I fight the urge to put my hands up above me in a 'What the hell are you thinking' gesture as she also realizes what she just revealed to the captain.

She quickly tries to cover up her wrapped chest with the blanket. Looking guilty as I face palm slightly.

"I can explain." She sighs, and Shang looks away not really knowing how to feel about this. Then the ugly dude, still don't know his name, don't care about said name cause this guys is you know, UGLY and ANNOYING. None-the-less I hold my breath as he comes into the tent as well gasping, "So its true!" As he walks closer to Mulan.

I sit up quickly, Shang walking about of the tent and Mulan exclaiming "Shang!" 

The ugly guy grabs my sister and I try to grab some type of clothing to stop him, but I'm too late, they're already outside. I try to stand up, despite the growing head pain, I end up doing so, almost falling out of the tent when the dude reveals to the rest of our group that my sister is in fact, a female and throwing her to the ground. "Treacherous snake!"

"My name is Mulan."
"Her name is Mulan."
We say together, and the what the hell he is to the army, whips around to face me, putting a finger in my face, "You KNEW about this?!"

"Of course I did you dumbass, She's my sister." I glare at him, slapping the finger out of my face. Shang turns around at my voice staring at me, and I stare back.

Even though the situation is bad, I see Mulan smirk from the corner of my eye, I glare for a second before I look at Shang. "Please, just.. Hear her out?"

The ugly guy laughs, "Hear her out? She's a woman, she shouldn't even have a say in this-"

Mulan cuts him off, also looking at Shang, "I did it for my father."

"High treason!" He yells to the others

"I.. WE didn't mean for it to go this far!"

At my sisters words I glare, WE?! No the betrayal here is not funny cause what? But then I nod in agreement cause really, I did tell her she should do this, so I guess it's both of our faults, might as well go down together.
