Planet Lelladore Kingdom of Esterlas Janes Laboratory
Janes laboratory pulsed with tension, the air thick with the clash of opposing forces—Jane's firm grip on scientific principles and Chloe's confidence in the arcane.
"You promised us a visit, Jane Hail. You're taking too long, and we must speak with you at once!" Chloe insisted, her gaze unwavering.
Jane sighed in frustration, her pistol still in hand. "You've got to be fucking kidding me," she muttered, feeling the weight of yet another lead in her paradox troubles.
Chloe approached with deliberate soft steps, maintaining her intense gaze. Jane, pistol at the ready, stared her down. "Chloe... Blackheart, we finally meet," she muttered.
Chloe, in stark contrast, remained calm as she kept her fingers intertwined slowly at her stomach as she spoke, "I've met you before. It seems you gave me the incorrect Thra'luna path."
Jane scoffed, holding her pistol close to her hip. "I use Quantum Physics to travel through time, not whatever Thra'luna is."
Nita stepped forward, a hint of confusion on her face. "According to the book you left for me Quantum Physics doesn't allow you to travel through time, how do you do it?" she asked Jane.
Still holding her pistol at Chloe, Jane explained with a brief dismissive tone, the gun swaying side to side as she spoke "I use Quantum Physics to manipulate three-dimensional space, I create a temporary wormhole that transcends the known laws of time, space and mathematics, the quantum world has so many secrets if you know where to look," she whispered with a smirk.
The room fell silent. Nita was lost, while Chloe raised an eyebrow. "That sounds ridiculous and far too complicated," she remarked in a teasing tone.
Jane's eyes widen, how dare this witch insult her science, "pfft, oh ok, how do you time travel? fancy spells?"
Chloe was taken aback by the scientist's rudeness but was surprised by her guess, "that's exactly how I do it, Thra'luna is a form of magic only some can learn, doubt you could."
Nita watched the two fight, one was the embodiment of science, the other magic, she stepped in front of them holding her hands out watching Jane step forward wanting to challenge the witch.
"This bickering is pointless, Miss Chloe please take us where you would like," Nita said, Jane's ears flicked back with annoyance while Chloe smiled at her,
"Very well, step through the portal please, they await you".

The trio stepped through, everything went dark, and the laboratory disappeared, Jane held her pistol tightly as she stepped through, her eyes watched the laboratory floor change from that familiar white tile to what looked like a polished wooden flooring.
Her eyes travelled up as she tilted her head taking in the strange surroundings, it was like a courtroom but held in a giant forest, the scent of ancient wood mixed with smells and sounds that wasn't from planet Earth or Lelladore, Jane could sense she was far away from home.
The courtroom had high ceilings made of giant tree leaves much bigger than a human, the source of light were floating crystals that emitted a soft, soothing glow of different colours as they floated up and down slowly, they cast patterns of light upon the walls like a disco ball.
Vines with luminescent flowers twined around large wooden pillars, they were reaching many meters tall, on the side had carved steps for someone to walk up, Jane and Nita's eyes travelled up the five large pillars that were at the back centre of the courtroom.
