All of them applauded at the end of the song. The guitar in Izuku's hands vanished into thin air as he sat on the stool facing the piano. There he began his next song.

Before he could open his mouth, though, the door creaked open to reveal a sophisticated lady (She retained her figure).  She had long green hair and green eyes. There was no room for debate that this was Izuku's mother. Katsuki didn't recognize this woman. The Inko he knew was warm, kind, and caring. Now, she was cold as ice. Izuku didn't seem to notice her presence and pressed on the keys.

Izuku: 🎵You could never know what it's like
Your blood like winter freezes just like ice
And there's a cold lonely light that shines from you
You'll wind up like the wreck you hide behind that mask you use

And did you think this fool could never win?
Well, look at me, I'm a-coming back again
I got a taste of love in a simple way
And if you need to know while I'm still standing you just fade away

Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did?
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
And I'm still standing after all this time
Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind

I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah

Once I never could've hoped to win
You're starting down the road leaving me again
The threats you made were meant to cut me down
And if our love was just a circus you'd be a clown by now

You know I'm still standing better than I ever did
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
I'm still standing after all this time
Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind

I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah🎵

He stood up from the stool as the piano was still playing. Little auras of yellow light were pressing on the keys. Izuku summoned a guitar for the brief solo and everyone was impressed.

For Ochaco, she could see how truly happy he was while singing. She had seen him happy and smiling before but it was never like this. It was like singing was made for him.

The guitar vanished and the OFA user sat back to the piano.

Izuku:  🎵Don't you know that I'm still standing better than I ever did?
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
And I'm still standing after all this time
Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind

I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah🎵

When the song ended, Izuku walked to the edge of the stage and bowed. His classmates gave him a standing ovation, not even noticing the woman who entered was staring at her son. She rubbed her diamond ring, a habit she formed when she was thinking of new schemes. Schemes that involved her son.

The rest of the auditions came and went. The rest of the students were just as impressive. When the auditions ended,  Edith stood up with a megaphone in her hands.

Edith: "Everyone! Gather up! Selections are coming up!"

When they blinked, everyone was gathered up in an instant. The class searched for their green-haired friend among the 20 students who auditioned. The headmistress stood up with a clipboard in her hands and walked up the stage.
