6 months ago....

"Honey what are you doing?" I hear Evelyn ask as she walks in my office

"Working and some business deals. I know boring." I continue to type in my computer

"Ok well I'll be downstairs if you need me." She walks away. We live in a three story house. Five bedrooms, small library, both of our offices, four bathrooms, our living room, kitchen and dining room

It's big and spacious but quiet and empty with it just being us two. Me and Evelyn moved to Sacramento about two years ago and we've have been running our companies ever since.

She has a fashion company, where she makes many amazing clothes and sells them or donates them to people in need whenever she can. I'm still in charge of my dads old tech company ever since Rosa gave me the rights to it eight years ago

These eight year have been rough. I hated walking away from my family especially Esme. Her screams and begs still haunt me till this day. Last I heard Landon left not long after and Aiden and Ethan following in our footsteps, went to live with our aunt Margot; my moms older sister but they moved a while ago to who knows where.

And Esme my poor baby sister. She was left with that Rosa, I know they moved and soled our old house but I'm not sure where, I wonder if Rosa ever got better.

These last couple of months I've missed them more than usually. Evelyn has helped me with the guilt over the last years I've known her but I can't help but want to repair our broken family and amend my past mistakes

It would be a hassle but I'm willing to do it

2 months later...

I talked about my plan to Evelyn and she was happy to hear about it. I've told her about my past when we first started dating. She was angry at me for what I did but understood why I did it

I've had some of the best computer hackers I know figure out my siblings location. Aiden and Ethan moved out of my aunt Margot's place and live in some small house together; still in San Francisco

All I know about Esme is that she lives in some L.A. apartments but that's it. And for Landon I know nothing but I have some people working on it. We'll find him.

I'm in the phone with Evelyn in San Francisco right now trying find Ethan and Aiden.

"Blake just know that even though they are your brothers things are different now. You guys haven't seen or spoken to each other in eight years they aren't going to be the same people you once knew." She tells me

"I know Evie but I have to try." I tell her pulling up the the house they supposedly live in "ok just making sure, be careful. I love you." She tells me

"Love you too, i got to go bye." I say and hang up. I get out my car and walk to the door feeling nervous about seeing my brothers after eight years. I knock twice and wait

I hear footsteps making their way to the door making me more anxious. The door opens. "Hello ho- Blake?" Aiden tells me

He looks different. He's taller probably 6 feet now; he's more buff, not as skinny anymore. "Hello Aiden." I say awkwardly

"Who's at the do- Blake what the hell?!" It's Ethan. He's changed as well; tall but not as tall as me and Aiden, his arms have many tattoos and his hair got even curlier

"May I come in?" They look hesitant but move out the way for me to come inside.
The house is painted a light grey with not many wall decor on it. It's small but feels comfortable

"So what are you doing here?" Aiden asks as we sit down on their small grey couch
"I need to talk to you guys about something important."

"Umm ok. You still in charge of dads company right?" He asks

"Yeah I am. I know this is weird and really out of the blue but I really do miss you guys." I tell them

"Well you did walk out of our lives and haven't spoken to us in the last eight years if I'm being exact" Ethan bluntly tells me. That hurt but it's expected

"I know, and I really regret it. I should've took you guys with me when I had the chance." I tell the truthfully

"Yeah but you didn't, because you are a selfish person who only thinks about him and his dumb business. Nice ring, thanks for the invite by the way." He glared

"Only her family there?" He's gotten ruder with age. But he is right and telling the truth. I guess the truth really does hurt

"Fuck off Ethan, I'm not here to argue." He rolls his eyes. "Then what are you here for." He ask

"I want to amend my biggest mistake. I want to repair out broken family." They look at me like I've gone mad

"You really done it with this one. You're the one that broke and now you want to fix it?!." He scoffs "why should we do that?"
Aiden asks

"Because I know I'm not the only one that misses that once happy family." They look conflicted

"Yeah well in order for that we need dad, don't we? And what we going to add mom too while we are add it?" I wonder if she's still that same old drunk?" He laughs

"This isn't a joke Ethan." One thing I hate is when someone doesn't take things seriously when needed "kind of is don't you think. Our brother who left and was a big part in our family being ruined wants to repair it after so long." He scoffs

"You were a big part too. Don't act so innocent, you didn't have to leave. You could've stayed with Esmeray." He looks down.

"Please help me repair this family, I know you guys want to." They both look at each other almost talking to each other through looks. "Fine but just know it won't be easy." Aiden says making Ethan roll his eyes again. Kids eyes are going to get stuck like that

"I know for a fact Esmeray won't be easy to convince. She'll be pissed off at us." I tell them

"We left her to deal with Rosa all by herself can't blame her. How old is she now?" "She's sixteen, she will be seventeen next year." I answer Aidens question

"Damn, she's all grown up now." I hear Ethan mumble "what about Landon?" Aiden asks

"Don't know, I'll take care of that, you guys can worry about Esme. She's in some apartments in L.A. don't know which probably figure that out in a month. Hopefully sooner but I'll let you guys know when."  They both nod

I got myself one step closer to making this family whole again.
