"Esme?!" I hear yelling from inside the apartment and I know they've finally noticed how silent It's been in my room
I quickly and safely climb down the roof and into my room.
"Esme?!" I hear them yell my name again.
I open my door and walk towards the kitchen, "what do you guys want?" I ask them, obviously annoyed.
"We thought you snuck out for a second." Aiden says, while awkward scratching the back of his neck
I roll my eyes at him. "Of course you guys did. Anyways I'm off to go pick up Issac." I tell them while walking towards the door.
"I can take you." Evelyn offers, getting up from her seat next to Blake.
"It's fine, I'll call a cab. I want some alone time with Issac before you guys start hovering all over us." I state. I then walk out the door before they could tell me anything
I realize a little after I left that I have no cash on me, so I can't even get cab. So now I have to walk.
Now sure I could tell my brothers or Evelyn to give me a ride but that would just be embarrassing, and proving that I need them
I pull my hood over my head to cover my self and keep my hands in my pocket trying to not gain attention from people.
During my walk I witness a gang fight and two shootings which is not surprising.
"Hey." I look next to me and It's some guy. He looks around my age. He has pale white skin, with silky dark almost black hair and brown eyes. He fairly tall around Liam and Ari's height
"Um hi." I say my voice coming out wearily.
"Oh sorry this is probably creepy but I'm Jude, I saw you walking alone and I decided to join you." He says a little to happy.
"Oh thanks I guess." I tell him, still not sure if he's being completely honest.
He then seems to notice the skeptical looks I pass his way.
"It's ok, I wouldn't trust some guy who just walked up to me either." He say awkwardly
"my names Esmeray. I'm going to my friends house and realized I had no money on me for a cab." I decide to explain to him, hating the awkward tension.
I'm pretty sure I broke almost every rule about stranger danger.
"It's happened to me before too. Do you live around here." He asks
"I do but Im moving soon, sadly." I tell him clearly unhappy about it
"I'm guessing not by choice, huh?" I nod in response
"What about you?" I ask him since he's been the only one asking stuff
"I'm visiting my grandmother. I'm from Sacramento." He tells me.
