The guys did an amazing job on Red, it's almost like nothing ever happened to her.
"I'll see you at Liam's." Arien yells as he gets into his car and drives away
Now we're all meeting up at Liam's house. I'll be telling my friends about me moving. None of them know except Liam and Dom.
I've been trying to not acknowledge the fact that tonight is my last night here in L.A. with all of my friends.
Yes I haven't had the best moments here but everyone I care about is here. That's enough to make me want to stay.
But it's just two years and then I can try and get custody of Issac and finally leave without anybody trying to stop me.
Finally we arrive at Liam's house. "Esme can you help me please?" I hear Issac huff at not being able to get out of the car seat
"Coming buddy." I chuckle. We then make our way to the house. Everyone seems to be here. I really am always the last one to arrive
Issac quickly lets go off my hand and runs to Liam's room saying he's gonna watch Lighting McQueen again.
Naomi and Ellie are on the couch chatting, Liam and Dom are sitting on the floor by the girls feet playing some video games, and Hazel and Ari are in the kitchen watching something on a laptop
Things never change
"Hello amigos." I say cheerily.
"Never say that again, kid" Arien yells from the kitchen table making me flip him off.
"Oh fuck off Ari." I retort, but he just laughs.
"Now that we're finally all here, you guys remember Derik?" Naomi asks us all, catching all of our attention at the mention of Derik
I haven't seen him in while, but I know him and Arien have been in touch.
"Yeah what about him?" Arien asks her
"Well I ran into him recently and he invited me to his party tomorrow night and told me to let y'all know, and we're all going." She announces while looking at me when saying the last part.
I guess now is the time to tell everybody. "I have to tell you guys something." I say
The all look at me, seeing as I'm being serious. "My mom gave custody of me and Issac to Blake. We're moving to Sacramento tomorrow." I tell them.
"What?" Naomi says looking at me shocked, they all do except for Dom and Liam.
"And you're barely telling us this now?!" Arien says slightly raising his voice. He looks a bit angry.
"I'm sorry. But I just found yesterday and Blake has been acting like such a control freak since then." I ramble.
"It's all bullshit, I don't want to go but I can't do anything about it." I mumble
"It's not your fault." Hazel tells me. Her eyes looking like she's about to cry.
"Why would your mom do that?" Ellie questions
"She's going to rehab, Blake set it up for her. She left yesterday, apologizing and saying how she wants what's best for me and Issac." I explain to them
"So suddenly she wants what's best for you? Where was she the last eight years?" Naomi suddenly outburst.
"Naomi, don-"
"No she's right Ellie." Liam cuts her off.
"Those bastards shouldn't get the right to have you move or to even have custody. It's all fucked up." Dom grits out angrily, finally talking.
"It's going to be ok, I mean you'll be eighteen in two years and then you can leave. Plus we'll visit you all the time, right guys?" Hazel says trying to see the bright side in things like always.
Even with tears forming in her eyes she always tries to be kind and see the good in things. She shouldn't have too.
"Let's forget about this, I need a drink." I say going to the kitchen and grabbing a beer.
"Let's make the most of tonight guys. Our queen bee might be leaving us temporarily but we'll see her soon." Liam says jokingly, but I can see through him. He's mad.
My stupid biologicals always ruin everything don't they.
"You're right. But don't ever call me queen bee again idiota." I tell him trying to act ok as well.
(Idiot.)
"And don't ever say cheesy things like that again. We have a Hazel for that." Arien mumbles, making Hazel glare at him.
I'm going to miss them.
Conversation can soon be heard again. But Dom is sitting there silent which is weird.
"Hey you ok?" I ask him
"Can we go talk in private, love?" He asks not even looking at me, which makes me concern
We both go outside in the front, luckily none of our friends seem to notice.
"What's going on Dom?" I ask growing more worried
"I talked to my parents about going to Sacramento they didn't agree with it and told me I can't go. This morning they told me if I were to do it they would send me to Italy again."
I look at him trying to see if he's joking or not but he isn't.
"But it's ok love I'll be eighteen soon and then I'll come to Sacramento with you." He quickly adds on, seeing as I'm currently fighting back tears.
He then engulfs me in a hug. I quickly hug him back squeezing him being afraid that if I let go he'll disappear.
"It's going to be ok." He reassures
It's going to be ok. right?
Why does this always have to happen to me. Why can't anything good last for me?
