'° Sands Of Training

After a quick talk with Xilac's friend Angelica and a few minutes of walking, we arrived at a pyramid-shaped building built with sandstone and is about 20 meters tall.

"Welcome to the pyramid of training! I also have a little friend I wish to introduce as well!" Xilac welcomed, gesturing me to come in as I did.

I was met with multiple people training all types of things. Mages practicing their aim -- firing at rocks that magically moved, and swordsmen practicing their swings and slices at some practice dummies.

"Ah, there she is!" Xilac led me to the right side of the room, meeting me with a fenced area with only a girl inside training.

She was slicing and also casting spells as well.

She was casting a ball of water, blasting it as she quickly lunged at it and sliced it.

"Go on, go!" Xilac shoved me into the fenced area. "Hello, Leiram! Meet Casef. Hello, Casef! Meet Leiram." Xilac introduced, suddenly behind me.

"Um. What?" Leiram raised an eyebrow, she looked around. "Who now?"

"Casef! Your new buddy!" Xilac assured. "Hah. Please tell me you're joking.

I am NOT gonna go close him." Leiram crossed her arms. "Oh, trust me! You'll love each other-- I mean you'll be best buddies in no time!" Xilac assured. "Oh, trust me! You're dead wrong." Leiram walked towards me.

"Alright pipsqueak.

Who're you?" She asked. "Um -- me? I'm uh, Casef! I'm new here!" I quickly answered. "K.

So, how strong are you?" Leiram asked, again. "I'd say.. decent?" I replied.

She simply scoffed and walked away. "Get ready." Leiram shifted into a fighting stance.

"Oh, we're sparring? O-Okay I guess.." I shifted into a stance as well, grasping Mt blade as I glared at Leiram, she glared back.

We were 10 meters apart before Leiram instantly blasted herself at me, igniting her fists in a glowing, blue hue of aura. I quickly shifted my blade in front of me, stepping back.

Leiram paused, striking the ground below her causing a short and small tremor, blasting 1.5 meter-sized geysers from below the sandy yet rocky ground at me.

I sidestepped as Leiram then continued to strike the ground, as I sidestepped again, and Leiram struck as well.

I sidestepped once more, preparing to dodge the next wave of geysers. Leiram prepared to strike the ground, suddenly blasting her self at me as she then struck a powerful blow at my face, sending me back as she then blasted herself into the air using a geyser then descending at me at high speeds, preparing to strike me again.

The second I got into the vicinity of her attack, I instantly blocked her strike with the flat side of my blade, causing a small tremor as I was sent back.

Leiram called down a barrage of waterfalls at me, as I sprinted away while it trailed behind.

I decided to cast Ember, attempting to overpower the blasting barrage of waterballs.

I fired the hellish flame, only overpowering few waterballs as Leiram then lunged at me with high speeds, striking me in the gut as her glowing hands surged in power, striking me as I blocked with my blade -- sending me back again as we stood apart 5 meters.

Leiram followed with another lunge, as I then sidestepped, weaving her punch as I struck her, causing her to blast me away with a powerful force, leaving me a little wet and formed small puddles of water on the ground. We stood apart 8 meters now.
