Its the final race of the season and with two driver neck and neck on points and Micheal Schumacher just three points behind the results of this race can change lives. Adam Norris and Alexander Francis have been battling all season giving the best performance out of either of the pairs careers giving us formula one fans an amazing season to watch. However I'm sure either of them don't feel the same.
With twenty laps to go there has been no fault in the duos performance pushing themselves as much as their cars can take them. Every time Norris gains the lead Francis is already taking back his stolen position and then vice versa. As this is Norris' last year before retirement he'll be wanting to take home one more world championship. But on the other hand Francis has a two year running title to defend from the driver he stole from.
With five laps to go the pair have spent majority of this lap side by side nearly colliding multiple times. How both their cars are in perfect condition is outstanding to me. Oh no! here comes trouble the track ahead begins to narrow not leaving enough room for both the cars with a sharp corner ruining their plans. I think I can speak for everyone watching and say I have never been more in suspense when watching a race then I am right now. If I had nails to begin with I would have chewed them all off.
With the slim corner charging at the drivers with a scary amount of time left neither of the pair had fallen back or pushed forward as they seem to be waiting for the other to react. However with the corner seconds away one of the stubborn driver is going to need to slam on them breaks to prevent any injury or damage to the car.
And- Oh My God!
With neither of the cars letting the other through they attempt to fit in together in this tight gap and it back fired terribly. The cars smashed into each other sending them flying in opposite directions. Francis got sent into the wall on his left wrecking his car, thankfully it's the last race of the season because that would not be and easy fix. Norris on the other hand was launched in the air his car landing upside down leaving an equally wrecked piece of machinery.
However no debris had fallen onto the track leaving the door wide open for Micheal Schumacher to win his first ever world championship!
