Fukuoka Middle School, next to Daijuni Middle School. Class 2-C.

Two months ago (Albert's POV)

A/N: His speech will be in bold letters to signal that he's speaking in English, as well as when he writes something, not in Japanese like the rest.

"Everyone listen up, we have a new student today." He signals to me.  "Can you write your name on the board Yamada-kun?

I nod, enter the classroom, and start writing my name on the board in English with capital letters.  [YAMADA ALBERT] Was written on the board.

Turning around, I fold my arms and notice my classmates looking at me with weird, yet curious expressions on their faces.

"Umm...well, it would be better if I finish his introduction...His name is Yamada Albert and he's  Afro-Japanese. He doesn't speak Japanese  well since he's lived most of his life in America but I'm sure he'll adapt quickly."

One classmate raises his hand and asks. "Is he allowed to wear sunglasses in class?"

"I was told he has a medical condition in his eyes so he can't take them off so easily."

Another student asks. "He's way too big and muscular. Is he a bodybuilder?"

"Are you one, Yamada-kun?" Sensei asked me.

I shake my head. "No"

"Can you tell us your hobbies?"

"I will" I turn around and write three of them. [BOXING, WEIGHT TRAINING, VIDEOGAMES]

"You sure are an athletic boy Yamada-kun..." The teacher looks briefly at the direction of one student in the back and then returns to me. "You can take your seat on that empty spot over there, behind Ryuen-kun."

"Understood." I nod and head my way toward my designated seat.

Once I passed right next to the magenta-hair classmate, he grinned and put his right foot on my path.

Not having enough time to react, I tripped and almost fell but I quickly slam my foot on the ground to regain balance, causing a long vibrating sound that shook all the nearby seats.

"!?" My classmates all turn around at the sudden noise and look at me.

I fix my tie and take my seat, completely ignoring everyone's gazes.

The one sitting in front of me looked irritated at first for my lack of reaction, and probably because of the pain he felt, but then his face turned to one of amusement judging by his noticeable smirk.

Ever since I saw my cousin Anna crying after being hit by a bully when we were little, I despised violence. Not because of morals but because many don't use it rationally or to protect others. Most people just do it for fun or to hurt someone else.
