Western Long Island
New York
March 5th, 0800
Cyrus woke up everyone to finally go investigate this warehouse.
They found out from their recon last night, that there is definitely agents there.
Thankfully they didn't see Murray, or anyone else we've had to deal with in the past.
I still think Murray is running this operation even though he isn't there.
We all loaded into the van, and headed on our way to this warehouse.
It was about five miles from our motel, on the outskirts of town.
Cyrus told us the plan "We aren't gonna engage with them unless absolutely necessary, think of it as another recon mission, but we're gonna try and infiltrate it".
"How are we getting in?" I questioned.
Surprisingly Cyrus grinned, "The vents, there is one I found on the west side of the warehouse we can get into to crawl through".
We all nodded, realizing it is a good plan.
Cyrus handed out guns and other weapons to the others, unsurprisingly I didn't get one.
I have improved a lot in combat, just in the self defense aspect of it, and now I'm kinda good at hand to hand.
Definitely better since our last mission, and my size will definitely help me.
I will say I'm definitely pretty strong now, and according to Catherine "way more handsome".
Surprisingly Cyrus handed me a hunting knife, and bear spray.
I doubt there will be any bears, but it's very effective on humans just like bears.
Cyrus parked about half a mile away from the warehouse, in some tree cover to conceal the van.
He carefully lead us towards the warehouse.
I gapped. "This thing is massive" I thought.
"No regular warehouse is this huge" I exclaimed trying to be quiet.
"Yeah well these fils de putes aren't using it for normal stuff" Louis stated annoyed.
We eventually made it up to the vent Cyrus was talking about.
He took a screwdriver out of his belt and quickly screwed off the cover.
He climbed in, and we all followed. It took some crawling before we started to hear stuff.
The vents were surprisingly clean, almost like they were recently installed.
It wouldn't surprise me if this whole place was just recently built.
Eventually we reached a grate to see into the place, and we were very high up.
The vent system we were in was running across the whole roof of the building.
Looking down I could see guards walking across catwalks, and tons of computer screens.
Weirdly, there was no one at the computers.
It just looked like a warehouse with tons of guards.
Cyrus who was right infront of me, started carefully screwing off the grate, since we were right above a catwalk.
No guards would be able to see us, so we all dropped down from the vent onto the catwalk.
Once we were out we all got a better look at the place, and it's crowded with guards.
Nowhere in our sight is there actually anyone doing anything, except patrolling.
"There's no one doing anything!" I stated quietly to the group.
"Do you really think they would have all their evil plans sitting in the open?" Louis looked at me with a annoyed expression again.
I shook my head, knowing I should have deduced this myself.
Cyrus lead our way through the catwalks, it was like a maze, with tons of walls, corners, and guards.
We knocked out all the guards in our way with choloform.
Eventually we made it to the base level of the warehouse.
Surprisingly there was no guards on this level for some reason.
"Suspicious" I thought.
"Everyone split up, and look for anything of importance" Cyrus ordered.
We all did as we were told and looked around the place.
I was looking in crates on the shelves, until I made my way over to the computers.
They were all off, with papers next to them with just random scribbles.
"That's weird" I thought to myself. For an apparent evil warehouse, and all they do is doodle on paper.
As I looked more at the desks with the computer, I sensed someone near me.
Instinctively I turned around to find...
Erica, "Of course you sneak up on me" I said to her.
She smirked at me "You find anything Important?".
"No I found these papers, but all they have is doodles, and I realized all these computers are unplugged" I told her.
"Wow, that's weird" She said suspiciously.
I nodded, but besides those things there is nothing else.
I made my way away from Erica to the other cubicle of desks.
It was the same as the other one I was just at.
Except the fact the floor dropped out beneath me.
And then everything went dark.
Cliffhanger!!
Hope you enjoyed this chapter
Lmk if the plot is developing good and if it's interesting
