I finally fell asleep around one in the morning.

I was rethinking my life.

My mind as busy as ever.

But as soon as I fell asleep.

The nightmares began.

I was back in Boston.

Tied up back to that rusty, abandoned, old workout bench.

Getting burned and sliced open by that scorching knife.

Nothing I can do except scream in pain.

Then they showed up to save me, but I know what happens when they come.

I screamed at them to leave me to die.

At least I could save my parents.

But they didn't it seems that they couldn't even hear me.

Then it all replayed.

Murray forcing me to choose between my parents, and the leaders of the free world.

I wish I could've saved both, I know this job takes sacrifices.

I wish I never even said yes.

The day Alexander Hale showed up to my house replayed in my head.

"Hello Benjamin" He greeted me, sitting on my sofa.

I had just gotten home from a normal boring day of middle school.

And of course I told him yes when he asked me to be a spy.

But I wish I could take that all back.

My parents would still be living in Washington, D.C.

Working at their grocery store.

But no I had forced them to go into witness protection.

Throwing away their old lives.

Having to live new ones in San Diego.

But then my job, caused them to loose theirs.

I screamed "GET ME OUT OF HERE".

All I heard was Murray's evil laugh surrounding me.

Then I was chained back down.

In front of hundreds of screens.

Them all replaying the same scene.

I kept struggling and screaming trying to get me out of the bonds.

Nothing worked.

Then it showed me having to choose between the whole world.

And Erica.

I didn't wanna choose.

I couldn't kill anyone.

I didn't wanna kill Erica especially.

But not billions of people either.

I didnt answer Murray.

Until he shot me.

Another shorter one!

But it explains what Ben goes through every night.
