Chapter 17: Fun Time with the Lees

"So your name is Tiffany and you're from Seoul?" L asked surprised because no city girl has ever stepped into their village.

The two of them were left alone in the house while Mrs. Lee and Jun Soo went to buy groceries.

"Nae but I was born in the States. May I know your name?" Tiffany smiled.

She started to feel comfortable with him.

"I'm Myung Soo. So where is this States?" he asked, completely dazed.

He never finished school so he doesn't know a lot about the world outside the village.

"Well...it's a wonderful place far from here" Tiffany chuckled seeing his innocent expression.

"I get it. So what brought you to this secluded area?" L asked the question he had been keeping.

Tiffany started to feel uncomfortable with that question as she remembered about the creepy guy.

"I-I got lost" she had to lie.

"O-okay so are you staying for tonight or do you want to go back home?" L asked with disappointment that the girl lied to him.

Well he can read people but he knows that he doesn't have the right to ask her so much.

"Home..." she trailed as her mind just remembered about her husband that was probably feeling helpless and worried about her where about.

She did have gone missing for more than a week now.

"Are you okay Fany?" he asked worriedly.

"Nae? Y-yeah I'm fine" Tiffany forced a smile as she got up and went into the bathroom, leaving a confused L.

He certainly saw sadness and longings in her eyes. He too got up and left the room.

When Mrs. Lee and Jun Soo got home, they were surprised to find Tiffany walking along the shore.

"Jun ah~ go accompany that pretty noona and I'll call when lunch is ready" Mrs. Lee said and the kid immediately ran out of the house and towards Tiffany.

The older lady chuckled at her son's childish act.She went to the kitchen and prepared lunch.

"Noona~what are you doing here all alone?"Jun Soo asked when he managed to catch up with the girl.

Tiffany turned around and was surprised to see the boy.

"W-who are you?"she asked.

"I'm Jun Soo~...my brother Myung Soo and me saved you Noona"he grinned.

Tiffany smiled hearing his honest answer and finally she brought him to a shelter under the big tree.

"Come sit on Noona's lap"Tiffany offered and the kid gladly did but his hand accidentally touched her baby bump.

"Noona~ why is your tummy big?"he asked curiously while staring at the small bump.

Tiffany smiled shyly and decided to tell him.

"Well-"she was about to speak but the kid cutted her.

"Did you eat a lot?"Tiffany almost laugh out loud at his innocent thinking.

"Aniyo~inside here is a little baby"Tiffany said as she guided his little hand and put it on her tummy.

The boy's face lit with amazement. He nodded.

"Did you eat it?"he asked again.

This time Tiffany laugh out loud.

"No Jun Soo...in less than 6 months the baby will come out so don't worry" It made the boy sighed in relief.

"So Noona,are you married?"he asked.

Tiffany thought of Nichkhun and smiled sadly.

"Nae"she said shortly.

The kid pouted and said "Too bad because my brot-"and someone closed his mouth.

It was Myung Soo.The two of them were shocked to see him.

"Were you listening to our conversation earlier?"Tiffany asked the guy beside her while they both watched Jun Soo running around.

"M-me? Aniyo"he lied.

"Its okay Myung Soo,I know you like me"she finally said.

"Bo?! its not like that Tiffany,I was-"he was trying very hard to cover his true feelings.

"I won't tell anyone Myung Soo"Tiffany looked at him and smiled.

He was awed by her beautiful smile.

"So I don't have a chance?"he asked bitterly.

"I'm really sorry but we can still be friends.I know you'll find someone better"she said to comfort him.

"Its okay Tiffany.Thanks"he smiled.

They looked into each other's eyes for a few moments until Jun Soo interrupted them.

"Noona~ Hyung~ let's go play" he shouted.

Their gaze broke and they started laughing.Soon they ran with Jun Soo around the shore.They played and Tiffany felt happy with them.Its been so long since she had fun with her family.But of course she had fun with her sisters and Nichkhun but she still missed her real family: her father, older sister and brother.

That night at Seoul:

Baekhyun arrived at SNSD dorm and knocked. After a few minutes, someone opened the door and it turns out to be the maknae.

"Baekhyun Oppa?" Seohyun was shocked. She didn't expect to see him here.

"Seo, where's the other girls? I need to know what happened" Baekhyun demanded. He was trying his best not to burst in front of the naive girl.

"Oppa, you can come in and I'll call the other unnies" Seohyun never forget her manners and let the guy in. Baekhyun nodded and took a seat at the living room. Seohyun went to Sunny's room.

"Unnies, Baekhyun Oppa is here" all of them gasped, feeling nervous.

"Oppa, what are you doing here? I thought Taeyeon went home" Sunny said nervously. Baekhyun looked at her with fire in his eyes.

"You know why I'm here" he said coldly. Only Sunny, Sooyoung and Yuri went out. The others decided to take some rest as they got a schedule early in the morning.

"We are very sorry Oppa" Sunny suddenly burst out crying. Yuri tried to comfort her while Sooyoung stood there quietly.

"You girls better tell me everything" he demanded. Sunny nodded and sat down at the opposite couch. The three of them told him everything.

"We should report this to the police" he was no longer angry. But he was getting scared of the chance he might lose his son.

"No we can't......The kidnapper called earlier and said if we report this to the police he might harm Taehyun...It was already bad that we reported about Tiffany's disappearance" Sooyoung said. Baekhyun understood and decided to leave to clear his mind from all that has been happening lately.

He bade the girls goodbye and left while the three girls nodded with tears staining their face. Why is this happening to them? They decided it was best not to tell Nichkhun about the phone call.
