Chapter 23: Back To Work

@ SM Building:

Every group in the company welcomed Tiffany warmly with hugs and kisses.She felt loved as always by everyone here.Mr.Soo Man attended a press conference and confirmed to the whole world that Tiffany of Girls Generation is back in business.

"Fany ah~ wanna have lunch together?" Sunny asked the girl who was busy dancing.Tiffany stopped and looked at her with an apologetic smile.

"I'll pass.Besides I still have a lot of catching up to do" Tiffany replied sheepishly.

"You're still stubborn even after giving birth to the triplets" Sunny sighed.

Tiffany doesn't want to argue with anyone at the moment since she has been lacking sleep last night. The triplets managed to keep her up all night while Nichkhun wasn't helping much.

"Okay let's have lunch" Tiffany smiled. The other girls cheered as they called their Manager Oppa to drive them to the nearest cafe.

In the Van:

"Fany ah, who's taking care of the triplets at home?" Sunny couldn't stop herself from asking.

It was just their Manager Oppa and five girls who followed. Taeyeon and Jessica had went home for lunch while Sooyoung and Seohyun decided to go back to their parents house and eat there.

"Abunim and Omonim are at home. They wanted to take care of the triplets although I had offered to bring them to the baby care centre" Tiffany answered.

"They are so nice to offer help. I'm glad you married Nichkhun" Hyoyeon said.

"Me too. They are so caring and thought of me as their own daughter" Tiffany smiled.

"We are happy for you Tiff" Yuri patted Tiffany's back.

"But sooner or later the public needs to know about them" their quiet Manager Oppa suddenly spoke out.

"Yeah you're right Oppa. I need to tell them the truth about me and Nichkhun's marriage and then about the triplets" Tiffany pouted. So many problems will arise if she tell the truth but then the public needs to know right?

"Then how about making a press conference next month? I will try to talk to Mr.Soo Man"

"Are you sure it's the right thing to do Manager Oppa?" Tiffany couldn't help but to feel insecure and scared.

"Tiff, everything is going to be fine. If the world is against you, we will surely have your back. We will support you all the way" Yuri encouraged.

"Yeah Unnie, our fans won't easily get affected by this and decided to leave us. Sone are the best and I believe they will stay loyal" Yoona grinned and hugged Tiffany who was beside her. Sunny hugged her too while Hyoyeon and Yuri patted her head. She felt so loved by her sisters and it immediately boosted up her confidence.

"Okay Manager Oppa. I want that press conference to be held next month" Tiffany decided. Manager Oppa smiled and nodded.

Later that night @ Horvejkul Residence:

Tiffany and Nichkhun got home together and had dinner with his parents. Mr and Mrs Horvejkul made dinner for them as they knew how tired the triplets' parents must be.

After dinner, the two elders excused themselves to bed while Tiffany was playing with the triplets in the nursery room. Nichkhun was busy taking a bath.

"Alex ah~ you have grown so big. Omma hope you will grow tall like your Appa" Tiffany chuckled at her own sentence. It has been a routine for her to talk to her sons every night before bed.

The triplets love it when they hear their mommy's voice as it made them all giddy. Especially when she sings them a lullaby.

"Oh and baby Aoran is so cute" when she said that, the baby giggled while baby Adrian pouted.

"Omo! You're cute too baby Adrian but for me you're more handsome. I'm pretty sure a lot of girls will fall for you" Tiffany smiled. The babies gurgled and giggled whenever Tiffany compliment them.

Meanwhile Nichkhun has been watching them from the door. He smiled seeing his wife interact with their sons.

"Tiff, it's time for them to sleep" he interrupted them. Tiffany smiled and told him to come in. The triplets are staring at their daddy with their huge and curious eyes. They rarely sees him as he was always busy.

"Hey babies, Appa will make you three sleep now so that Omma can sleep early. She needs to work tomorrow" Nichkhun said to them. Tiffany stared at her husband with a raised eyebrow.

"What? I really think you should sleep now babe" Nichkhun said innocently.

"Aigoo~ okay but do you think you can handle the three of them?"

"Of course I can. This will be a piece of cake" oh how wrong was he.

"Okay then. Goodnight Oppa and also babies" Tiffany kissed each of them and then Nichkhun before stepping out of the room.

Tiffany's POV:

As soon as I stepped inside our bedroom I heard Oppa's phone ringing. I took it from the desk and looked at the caller id.

'Best friend Min Ah'

Who is this Min Ah? It can't be Girls Day's Min Ah right?

I was about to press the answer button when the call was ended. And then a message appeared.

From: Best friend Min Ah

Oppa! It's me Min Ah. Why aren't you answering my calls? Please I really need to talk to you. It's really important that you come and meet me tomorrow evening at the VIP club where we used to go.

What?! They have met at a club without me knowing? Oppa couldn't be cheating on me right? It can't be.

I decided to find it out myself. I quickly delete the text and her calls. I typed in her phone number on my phone and put Oppa's phone back to its place before he comes in.

Whatever Oppa is hiding from me...I will investigate it myself. I hope you're not cheating on me Oppa.
END OF POV

Tiffany changed into her night gown and settled herself on their king sized bed. She kept tossing and turning but couldn't fall asleep. That text message gave her goosebumps.

"Tiff-" Tiffany quickly shut her eyes and acted as if she has fallen asleep. She heard Nichkhun's footsteps getting closer and eventually he slumped his body beside his wife.

"That was tiring" he sighed and took a few deep breaths and wiped away his sweats.

"I wonder how Tiffany was able to withstand their tantrums" he mumbled to himself before laying down and hugging Tiffany closer to him.

"Goodnight Tiff" he yawned before closing his eyes completely. He fell asleep immediately as he was too tired to think of anything other than a good night sleep.

Tiffany slowly open her eyes and looked at her husband's tired face. She smiled before wrapping her arms around his waist.

'I hope what I'm feeling right now is not true Oppa. I know you won't cheat on me with another woman right? We have the triplets to take care of and I can't do it without you'
