Chapter 11: The Encounter Part 2

"I'm your biggest fan Tiffany Unnie" The girl said.

Tiffany just stood there as she's still in a daze.The girl continued her little confession.

"You're like a role model to me and I looked up to you but the moment I found out that you hid about your marriage from everyone I was disappointed. Yet I still love you unconditionally but my friends started to call you names and it's making me crazy and more heartbroken so I cursed them and we started to hit each other...."
Everything that she said had seeped into Tiff's head.

She couldn't believe that a little girl like her would do such thing. Tiff guessed she must be 8 years old.Still she kept quiet and let the girl talk.

"When my family found out everything they started hitting me and scolded me for hours until I collapsed. From that day onward, I vowed that I will never believe in anyone ever again. All they did is lie to me. And so I ran away from home" the girl burst into tears.

She did all of those things just because of her idol's secret marriage. Tiff couldn't believe that her secret could hurt a soul this badly. She started to feel bad for the girl.

"I never intended to lie to anyone. I-I'm so sorry" Tiff cried with her as they hugged each other with much so much love, as a fan and idol who poured all their feelings into that hug.

After moments of crying, they finally calmed down. Tiff wiped the girl's tears from her chubby cheeks while the girl took off Tiff's sunglasses just so she could wipe the tears that her idol shed for her.

"I love you Tiffany Unnie...I'm so happy that I finally could meet you" the girl smiled.

"I'm happy to be able to meet such an adorable fan like you little girl. You really taught me something but how did you found out I was here?" Tiff asked.

"Well~ I have an instinct and FYI my name is Mi Hyun and I'm not a little girl. I'm 10 years old you know" Mi Hyun pouted. "Well I'm sorry then Mi Hyun. You're too cute so I thought you're 8" Tiff teased.

She laughed cutely and took Tiff's hand into her little one as they got out of the toilet. Tiff didn't forget to put back on her sunglasses. They met Nichkhun on the way to the store.

"Tiffany? Why did you leave the store? Didn't I tell you to stay there?" he asked anxiously and scanned her whole body to search for scratches.

"I'm fine Oppa" Tiff whispered in embarrassment when she saw Mi Hyun staring at them weirdly.

"Who is she?" Nich finally asked.

"It's a long story" Tiff giggled.

She decided to leave the place as she wanted to fix Mi Hyun's problem. She was a bit disappointed that she couldn't purchase everything that she had chosen earlier.

"Is that your house Mi Hyun?" Tiff asked the girl who was sitting uncomfortably on the backseat. She doesn't want to go home but the idol forced her to.

"N-Nae" Mi Hyun answered weakly.

"Oppa stop there and wait in the car... It will just be for a while" Tiff smiled at Nich before leaving the car with the girl following her from behind.

Tiffany's POV:

I knocked the door and a lady in her late 40s opened the door and greeted me warmly and I did the same.

"Tiffany shi?" she smiled.

"Nae Ahjumma, it's nice to meet you" I bowed at her.

I guess her whole family must have recognized me but will they think of me as a bad influence to their daughter? I almost forgot about Mi Hyun. I stepped aside a bit until the lady could see Mi Hyun who had been hiding behind me all this time.

"Mi Hyun?! My daughter how could you leave without telling us?" the lady gasped as she engulfed Mi Hyun into her hug but the kid didn't even hug back. I wonder why.

"Are you okay dear? Did anyone tried to hurt you?" Mi Hyun's mother scanned her daughter worriedly as her eyes became teary.

"No, instead I met Tiffany Unnie and she took great care of me" Mi Hyun said coldly.

"Mi Hyun, don't you miss your family?" I asked slowly.

"NO!! I never wanted to come here in the first place but you made me...I really hate them, they hit me and scold me just because I defended Tiffany Unnie from those bad bullies at school" she shouted and burst into tears.

"But you shouldn't hate them. Remember who took care of you when you're just a baby hmm?" I crouched down in front of her and said those words soothingly to calm her down.

"You're a good girl right?" I asked her as she hugged me tightly. "I am but Appa and Eomma thinks I'm bad" she sobbed continuously.

"Still you can't do that. You know, I lost my mom at a young age 13 but I stayed strong for my family. So while your Appa and Eomma are still with you, you have to cherish every moment and show them that you love them everyday ok?" I said softly as I bit my lower lips.

I don't want to cry in front of the girl. She broke the hug and stared at me with teary eyes.

"I know a lot about you Unnie and I know you're good at hiding your pain. But I promise I'll do it for you and also for my family" Mi Hyun said with a smile. She really have a mature thinking.

"Good girl" I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Remember that I love you Mi Hyun. No matter what others think of you, you need to think maturely and don't let words hurt you arraso?" I advised her although I felt like I was talking to my own reflection.

"Nae Unnie, saranghae" she grinned.

Finally I stood up and stand in front of her mother who was already in tears.

"Ahjumma, you're lucky to have such a beautiful and smart daughter so please don't hurt her anymore. She needs unconditional love from her parents and I know I'm not in the right position to tell you this. Because I was the reason she got involved in a fight but still I want to tell you this, please love your daughter and show her that you love her along with your husband. A child looked up on both their parents so when they could feel your love they will not rebel against you. Mi Hyun actually ran away from home because she was upset when you and your husband hit her mercilessly and scolded her like she had done something bad. It's not really about what her friends said about me but it was due to the way you treated her. She's a good girl Ahjumma and she's too small to understand a lot so don't give up on teaching and educate Mi Hyun. I'm sure she'll grow up to be a fine lady who loves her parents" I said with a smile and hug her.

"I will. Thank you so much Tiffany shi" she sobbed so I rubbed her back tenderly.

It had been a long time since I felt the love from a mother's hug. She let go and hug her daughter tightly.

"Please forgive Appa and Eomma for hurting you" she cried but Mi Hyun had that shocked expression. She looked at me so I gave her a 'GO' sign. She immediately hugged her mother but this time she didn't cry. She had a big smile on her face.

"Eomma~ I'm sorry too. Even if my friends said bad things about Appa, Eomma and baby Jung Ki that day I would have done the same thing to protect my family" Mi Hyun giggled but she meant every word.

"I-I should get going now" I bowed at them and walked away.

"Thank you Tiffany Unnie!!" I heard Mi Hyun shouted and waved along with her mother so I did the same before running to the car. I saw Oppa leaning his back against the car with his eyes closed. END OF POV
