Chapter 43: Reunion

"Tiff, wake up" Nichkhun shook her body lightly. Tiffany groaned and opened her eyes.

"What happened Oppa?" She asked weakly.

"You fainted in the house. The doctor said you're pregnant" Nichkhun said with a wide smile on his face. He hugs Tiffany tenderly. Tiffany didn't move nor said anything.

"Really? Are you sure?" She asked for confirmation after a few moments of silence.

"Yes"

"That's great news Oppa but I'm worried" Tiffany sighed. As much as she would like to be thankful, she has a lot of things that she needs to worry about.

"Its okay Tiff. I'm here for you and I will help as much as I can" Nichkhun kissed her forehead and helped her off the bed.

"Hmm..." Tiffany nodded.

Both of them left the hospital and by the time they arrived home it was already 10pm and the kids were fast asleep in their bedroom. Joy can be seen cleaning the kitchen and she looks really rushed.

"We're home" Nich called out.

"Omo!" Joy jumped in surprise as she ran towards the front door.

"Are you alright Joy? You look like you've just seen a ghost" Tiff chuckled.

"N-no....I got surprised that's all" Joy smiled.

"Hmm...where are the boys?" Nich interrupted.

"Upstairs. They went to bed after they finished their dinner. Are you two going to eat again? I can heat up the food"

"No its okay. We will just go straight to bed" Tiffany said.

"Okay ma'am. How are you feeling?"

"Well, Tiffany is pregnant" Nich grinned.

"Wow! Congratulations Sir and ma'am" Joy said joyfully.

"Thank you"

Both of them left Joy to finish up her work and went upstairs to the boys' room.

"Oppa, you can go back to bed. I will sleep with them" Tiffany said.

"No, you have to go to bed. You're pregnant, remember?" Nichkhun said.

"Oppa, I'm okay. Besides, I don't mind sleeping on the carpet"

"Nope, if you're being this stubborn then I will sleep on the carpet with you"

Tiffany sighed. Nichkhun is being childish but she knew he only wants her and the kids to be safe.

"Fine" Tiffany left the room and went to their bedroom to get their pillows and blanket. Nichkhun helped to arrange it on the carpet.

Tiffany got changed into her white nightgown while Nichkhun wore nothing but his boxer.

Then they settled down on the carpet. Nichkhun hugged Tiffany as she rested her head on his bare chest. They were quiet as Nichkhun constantly caressing her stomach in a loving manner.

"Oppa, I don't want anything bad to happen to us again" Tiffany suddenly said. Nichkhun stopped and turn her body to face him.

"Nothing is going to happen to us. I will protect you and the boys arasso?" Nichkhun reassured her.

"But I still get scared" Tiffany sobbed.

"Don't cry Tiff. Everything will be alright, I promise you. You shouldn't stress yourself out" Nichkhun cupped her face and pecked her lips.

Tiffany didn't say anything as she hugged him tightly. She's afraid of the reality that they are living in right now. She cried in his arms while he said soothing words to calm her down.
