  Damon is whistling a unidentified tune, Bonnie decides to speak up, "You're in a good mood for the first time this decade."

"Because I have a hot date with my girl tonight." His girlfriend, Elena I realised awhile ago that, that's the girl he mopes around about. or moped around about.

"Yeah, assuming Kai's telling the truth." Bonnie is still trying to be rational. There is never an in between with these two. They're always on polar ends of every situation.

"I'm thinking dinner and a movie. You know what? Screw the dinner and a movie. Skip straight to the good part. Yeah." If this was a cartoon, Damon would have hearts for eyes.

"And assuming I can do the spell, which I won't know until I see it." Bonnie looks over to me and all I do is shrug.

"Whatever happened to hope, Bon? Remember when I was all like, 'boo, grr,' and you were all 'hooray, hooray.We're getting out of here!'" Damon says in a high pitched voice, which you can tell is his 'Bonnie' voice.

"Look. I want to go home more than anything, but Kai's and Karma are sociopaths."

"Who's to say he won't screw us over? Who's to say she wont screw us over?"

"Okay first of all, you dont know shit about me or what i've done. I feel remorse." I try to make it sound true but she is completely right, I am a sociopath. Apparently the whole world knows I am. "Secondly, kai and I aren't screwing you over. Not that I know of. Show some faith." I roll my eyes and start walking ahead of them.

"I heard my name. All good I hope. The eclipse will happen directly overhead in perfect alignment with the Gemini constellation. You need to dig into the tunnels below us. We'll do the spell there." Kai shows up and points to the ground we are standing on.

"Why?"

"Have you never portal jumped through an eclipse before? Ok. Look.The light of the eclipse will shine down and activate the ascendant. You spout a little witchy woo, and then poof! Anyone standing in the circle of light holding the ascendant goes home."

"By witchy woo, I assume you mean spell. Let me see it."

"When the time comes."

"Where are you going?"

"Into town. Karma and I need to gather some important supplies" he looks at me and smiles. Right then, I know we aren't just going back for supplies, we are either going to talk or not talk at all.

Honestly, I'm up for either right now. Damon and Bonnie are such mood killers. Plus I cant really be myself around them, seeing as I want to make sure I go back. If I was being myself, me and Kai would've killed damon and taken Bonnie hostage. Would've made her do the spell for us.

The entire walk back out of the woods was silent, surprisingly kai had nothing to say. He always does. "Is there something bothering you?" I ask, stopping in my tracks so I can look at him while talking. I always loved the way his lips moved while speaking.

"Uh, well I was gonna wait until we made it out- or even just until we get to the store." I motion him to get to the point and keep talking. "Well, um.. I was gonna ask if you wanted to get married, to.. me. You dont have to answer right now, but I'd prefer one. Yano, so I can stop worrying about what you'll say."

"This is unexpected." Is all i can find the words to say. Me and Kai, married? I know sure we get along pretty smoothly now and we've been through alot. We've suffered the same amount of prison time. Whos to say it everything wont change when we leave? "Lets keep going."

  As we near the other couple, we can hear bonnie saying something but my mind is too preoccupied on what Kai asked me. When we got to the store he gave me a small velvet box and said just simple words. 'Karma, i love you. dont open the box until you have an answer.. please.' I reflect on the past few months, he has been so kind to me since I got back to mystic falls. Should I forget all the things he put me through when we first met? Do I even love him back? Is he my soul mate? Probably, if you think about it, it makes sense. That two sociopathic homicidal 22 year old witches were meant to be.

I haven't been listening to the conversation at all, i've just been touching the soft velvet in my pocket and thinking about our relationship, minding my own business and staring off into the distance somewhere. What brings me back to current time is Bonnie's use to for the words 'motus.'

"No! No! Bonnie! Great work, Bonnie." Damon is freaking out.

"Well we better keep going if we are gonna make the eclipse." I speak up, Bonnie and Damon look at me like they forgot I was there. I do play well as a background character. "Doesn't mean I really don't want to punch you in the face for killing my boyfriend." I could've said fiancé, but was he? I was barely use to saying the word boyfriend.

 "Mmm, mmm, mmm." Needless to say Damon got into our zima. 

"Can you stop and let me concentrate?" Bonnie is sitting on a pile of dirt looking into her dead grandmother's grimoire. 

"On the bright side, this stuff's not so bad. It's fruity and fizzy."

"and it's mine." I snatch the bottle out of his hand and tip the liquid down my throat. "mmm." Mocking his earlier actions. 

"On the not so bright side is your intelligence because you took the only chance of us getting out of here and turned him into a giant Douche-kabob and we are stuck with this asshole of a girlfriend he's got." 

"You're right.. Karma, what do you know about the spell?" They both turn to look at me. 

"What makes you think I would tell you?" Answering a question with a question is always a good trick when you need something. 

Bonnie looks to Damon, "What do you want?" 

"Immunity." So when I get out of here, I don't have to worry about a Bennett coming after me. 

"That's a big wish." 

"In return for a big spell."

"Deal. Now what is it about this spell?"

"Kai hoped I was a Bennett the first time he found out I was a witch, It finally made sense when you two showed up. You're the only one who can perform the spell, It's based on instinct. You'll know the spell when it's time. Now, let's go home."

  "It's time, Damon.. Karma." I hear my name and I walk over to stand next to Bonnie. I don't care to listen to walk they say to each other, I notice kai standing a few yards away from us and I smile. That's my fiancé.

"Forgetting someone? Did you really think I hadn't tried to kill myself before? Because I had, lots of times, lots of ways." An arrow flying through the air and sliding into Bonnie's stomach. "Grab that, and the next arrow goes in her heart. Your choice." Kai stands there with a crossbow, something he's been practicing since the other couple got here. Damon rushes over to Bonnie who is on the floor with the arrow sticking out of her body clogging up the loss of blood. He rips the arrow from her abdomen, ready to give her the blood she needs to heal. I grab the ascendant and finding my place under the eclipse. Kai gets attacked by Damon preventing Kai from joining me under the light. 

"Bonnie, get out of here. Go with Karma!"

"I'm not gonna make it, but you are. Motus." Tossing Kai across the room with her magic. Yet,  I refuse to leave the spot I'm in. I cannot give up freedom for him. Not ever. 

"Kai!" I scream, holding the ascendant. My heart drops, quickly I grab onto Damon bracing myself for the jump.

"Don't! No." The last thing I see before it all goes white, is his bright crystal blue eyes.
