NARRATOR P.O.V

It's been several hours since Y/N has arrived from the battle against Miklan. Currently, he's in the Audience chamber with Byleth. Rhea stands in front of them, wanting to hear how things went from the professor. She can see the stolen Hero Relic in his hands.

Rhea:"Professors, you have returned. The goddess in indeed generous with her divine protection. I have already heard Gilbert's report about what happened. See to it that you keep what transpired at the tower to yourselves."

Y/N:"It's not like I was going to shout to the heavens what we saw at the castle."

Rhea:"Good. People will lose faith in the nobles should rumors spread of one using a Relic and transforming into a nmonster. All regions of Fódlan would fall into chaos. We must avoid that at all costs. Please ensure the students that have accompanied you understands that as well. Have I made myself clear?"

Y/N:"..."

Byleth:"Yes, Lady Rhea."

Rhea:"His transformation into a dark beast was nothing short of divine punishment from the goddess. Punishment for someone arrogant and foolish enough to use a Hero's Relic even though they were unworthy and unqualified."

Those words were said with venom and anger in her voice, something that made both professors take a small step back in surprise. Rhea quickly regained her composure but Byleth decided to ask something before Rhea could continue.

Byleth:"Will Y/N share the same fate as Miklan?"

Rhea:"If someone without a crest were to wield the Hero Relic he has, they would likely meet the same fate as Miklan." *Looks at Y/N* "You, however, has been chosen. You are worthy of wielding the Sword of the Creator, so there is no need to worry."

Rhea approached Y/N, getting closer. She extended her arms, pointed at the spear Y/N is holding.

Rhea:"The church will formally return the lance to House Gautier. If you would..."

Y/N looked at it for a second, hesitating. He eventually gave it to Rhea knowing there's no point in trying to keep it. Rhea smiled, holding the lance in one hand. Y/N noticed how she was properly wielding it, just like a warrior would. The professor realised Rhea is trained. "Something strange in an archbishop." He thought.

Rhea:"You have my gratitude. I can see that I was right to trust you with this. Please report back. I will tell you of your new mission for the coming moon at that time."

Y/N nodded and left the room, not before making a small respectfull bow at Rhea. As soon as he left, Byleth placed her hand on Y/N's shoulder to get his attention.

Byleth:"Is everything okay? You were oddly quiet."

Y/N:"The more I read mother's diary... the more time we stay here... the more suspicious I grow of this Church of Seiros. First, I felt great here. Specially with our new jobs. Now I'm starting to think we should all leave as soon as possible. You, Father and I."

Byleth:"You would leave the students behind?"

Y/N:"No. That's why I'm going to stay. I made a vow to protect them. However, you're my family and I can't help but feel it would be the right choice." *Sigh* "Forget what I said. These are the ramblings of a tired man. We should get some rest."

Byleth:"If there is anything you need to talk with me, you know I'm here right?"

Y/N:"Of course. Don't worry Byleth, it was nothing. Really."

Byleth:"Okay. I'll go visit father before calling it a day. Have a good night brother. May the goddess be with you."

Y/N:"Likewise."
