NARRATOR P.O.V

Sunday 27, Blue Sea Moon.

It's the day after the infiltrators were dealt with. Y/N, Byleth and Edelgard are currently hiding in the Audience Chamber were Rhea was going to judge the captured church soldiers for their actions. Shamir and Seteth were there too.

Seteth:"As all of you have comitted a breach of faith, the archbishop will now pass judgement."

Shamir:"Inciting a Kingdom noble to rebel. Unlawful entry. The attempted assassination of the archbishop. An attack on the Holy Mausoleum. It is unnecessary to go on, followers of the Western Church."

Captured Soldier:"What?! We have nothing to do with the Western Church!"

Seteth:"You have already been identified. Please, spare us your second-rate theater."

Rhea:"Dishonoring a holy ceremony is worthy of death for a member of the church. You are well past the hope of redemption. If you have any grace remaining, you will willingly offer your life as atonement for this crime."

Captured Soldier:"No! This isn't what we were told would happen! We've been decieved!"

Shamir:"It's no use arguing. Whatever your excuse, the punishment still stands."

Rhea:"May your souls find peace as they return to the goddess..."

Captured Soldier:"Wait! Please! The goddess would never forgive you for our execution!"

Captured Priest:"Monster! We know you've already slaughtered many of our fellow brethren like this!"

Rhea:"This concludes the investigation. Please remove these poor, lost souls from my sight."

A couple of knights took the captured soldiers away. Edelgard, Y/N and Byleth left the place and walked towards the classroom in silence. They had nothing to say.

As soon as they arrived, all of the Black Eagles students stood up from their seats and approached their class representant and teachers to see what the news were. They were not happy to hear them.

Edelgard:"That's that, I suppose. The assassination attempt, the attack of the Holy Mausoleum... It was all the Western Church's doing."

Y/N:"Let's not forget about the Death Knight. He managed to escape in the same way he got in."

Hubert:"The Church of Seiros clearly isn't as unified as it would hope to appear. It seems the bishop of the Western Church was always opposed to the church being centrally ruled in Garreg Mach. Perhaps they hope to remove the archbishop in order to completely strip the Central Church of its authority."

Byleth:"Pardon me but, what is all this Central Church and Western Church thing? Are there multiple versions of the Church of Seiros?"

Edelgard:"Ugh, that's right. Jeralt mentioned both of you were raised without any exposure to the church. In order to function more efficiently, the church is split into several smaller entities."

Y/N:"By what you said earlier, I assume the Central one is the largest of them all while the Western one is far smaller in comparison."

Hubert:"You're correct. The Western Church extend from Castle Gaspard, where Lord Lonato rebelled into the far west. They can be found just beyond the most renowned stronghold of the Kingdom, the Fortress City of Arianrhod."

Y/N:"The Silver Maiden. I've heard the tales of that city. Curious to see if it's truly impenetrable."

Felix:"I assure you, the tales are true. Nothing can come through it's walls."
