" There, now. ", Vanessa sighed as she finally finished setting up and connecting the generator to the main entrance's gates.

Now we just have to wait for a bit.

" Now we just have to wait for a bit. Hopefully not for too long. ", said Vanessa.

(Y/N) nodded at the older female. " Hopefully. "

The two just stood there for a while, staring into nothing as they thought about absolutely nothing. Just blankness.

A certain boy then entered the little girl's mind.

" Hey Ness? ", The little girl called as she tugged the security guard's sleeves. " What's going to happen to Gregory? "

Vanessa doesn't know what to say.

She felt pity for the child. For everything she has gone through. For still worrying about the boy after everything he has put her through. She can't help but feel a small resentment towards the little boy for it.

But still, they are children.

" I'll find him along soon after asking for help. It will be difficult to look for him at this state. For now, I'm focused on getting you out of here first. ", she finally answered.

(Y/N) doesn't know how to act with that. For some reason, she feels like this is all illogically her fault. Everyone she has befriended has gone away, and they're not even close to five.

" What should we do for now then? ", the little girl asked.

" We should.... ", said Vanessa. " For now, I think we should create a back up plan just in case anything goes wrong. I think it's safe for you to wander around the place now with that mask. It's an early version anyway, I've been told that it has vetter abilities than the current ones. "

" Okay... ", (Y/N) urged.

" So we should split up. I'll take care of the mechanical stuffs and try to break any entrance and exit open. You in the other hand can go explore and look for any spots that can lead to outside. Vents, windows, anything. ", Vanessa explained. " Just keep that mask with you at all times. I'll look for other masks so I can communicate with you through them. "

" Okay. Explore the areas, look for possible exits, and tell you where it is. ", said (Y/N).

Vanessa nodded before awkwardly patting the younger girl's shoulder. " Be careful. "

And with that, the two split up.

(Y/N) was able to navigate her way around most areas of the Pizzaplex at this point. And just as Vanessa said, the bots did nothing but stare at her. So far, she has only passed by one vent, and no windows.

" Where are the other vents? ", the little girl muttered to herself.

" There are exactly three vents in your area. Would you like me to guide you to them? "

(Y/N) jolted in surprise at the sudden voice. She looked around frantically. " W-what? "

" Um, yes please. "

" Very well. ", the mask answered as strange lines began to appear at its screen. After processing what it was, the little girl gasped in amazement.

It was the building's interior. Except she can now see through the walls and the only color here is literally just different shades of pink.

From where she is, she could see three different vents just as the mask said. Two of them are connected to each other.
