Silas POV...

I follow her outside to see Tate and Will arguing at the parking lot. I light my cigarette, leaning against my bike and listening to their conversation with ghost of smile at the corner of my mouth.

"Can you at least talk to me?" Tate says.

"And what are we even going to talk about exactly?" He snaps at her.

"You're going to explain to me what I have done to piss you off this awful. That's what we're going to talk about." She breathes. "I don't understand what happened and this misunderstanding drives me insane." Her arms are crossed across her chest.

"Why are you even wasting your time on me and not spending it with your boyfriend." Will throws pity chin at me.

"Because he's not my boyfriend," Tate cuts short. "And you're obligated to me to explain reasons." Her voice is harsh.

"Please Tate, don't talk as if you weren't all over him few minutes ago, especially after last night. But you probably don't even care about last night." As he tries to walk away she grabs his forearm and pulls him to face her.

"And you were with Aria. You even spent last night with Aria after being with me!" She raises her voice. I freeze for a moment, staring at my shoes until I raise head to pierce him with my eyes. He spent night with her.

"Maybe because one girl made me feel played and shattered my trust. You know what I was waiting for? I was waiting for an apology, a worthy explanation. I didn't lose hope that you would explain everything to me; however, you chose to just go with him in that room. Think about it! Oh my goodness, you're driving me insane. Think about how much of a mess you are!" His voice raises a few octaves. "Now go, your boyfriend is waiting for you."

"I am... I am a mess?" She stutters, utterly shocked. Her hand wipes blood from nose, watching Will breathe deep whilst realizing what he just said.

I walk towards her, giving my handkerchief to wipe blood off. "I want you to know if I truly were boyfriend, I would beat this guy bloody for the way he talks to you."

Will rolls his eyes at me. "If? Hypothetically? Doubt it."

"Yes, hypothetically." I answer, sliding my hands in pockets without moving my eyes away from him.

"Can we just end this nonsense?" She says, feeling tension in her neck as she rubs it.

"Does this toxicity truly attract you?" His eyes are on her, narrower with brows smudged together. "Really? Is this what made you choose him?"

"What?" She scowls at him. "I haven't chosen anybody!" I touch her lower back. I don't know why I want to prove him that she chose me. Maybe truly ego is playing instead of me but I want to be her first choice.

Tate notices my hand and William notices her reaction. "Clearly," he sounds broken and choked by anger and sadness as his eyes never leave my arm around her waist, "clearly. Just so you know, I'm choosing Aria over you. I still don't understand why you did this to me but I guess I'm not toxic enough for you. Hope you two will enjoy each other's company."

"You went with Aria in that room!" She pushes his chest as he stumbles back. "You spent night with her! Whatever I've done it wasn't equally terrible as what you did!" She pushes him again. "Then go on be with Aria but don't you ever dare to talk to me this way ever again or I swear I will make you regret every single word!"
