Tate' s POV...
"I don't want to play this game," I cross my arms, standing in front of Silas.
"Don't make me believe you're not familiar to the rules." He tells.
"I am and I don't give a shit about it." My eyes run for a second to the guy sitting next to him and he notices it.
"Why are you avoiding playing the game, Tate?" Clearly William also noticed my gaze. "I thought you liked games."
"So we're playing," Aria joins us and sits down on a cushion.
My jaw tenses as I'm forced to give in. I had things going on with both of them and I most definitely don't want to look like a silly immature little girl. "Fine, let's play this stupid game." I sit next to Aria as someone brings an empty vodka bottle.
Daniel opens the game. He spins the bottle. It spins, spins, spins and stops on Mitchel. "There's no way," Mitch laughs.
"It's a rule, you have to." Ada tells him.
"I said no. No fucking way." He continues. "No means no. I'm not going anywhere with him."
"Why not?" Dan finally speaks up.
They hold strong eye contact, their tension noticeable. "Because. That's enough reason." Ada and I watch them flabbergasted as we side eye each other.
"No but really, I don't understand why you're against it—"
"Enough, it's my turn." Will grabs the bottle, his eyes connecting with mine as he stoops down to twist it. He doesn't even look at spinning object, he just stares at me with those powerful black eyes, making my shoulders shake from such eye connection.
I hope the bottle stops on me.
I wait for it to stop but my eyes are still glued on him and his beauty. But there's another breathtaking person next to him. Will in black clothes and Silas in white, their auras completely different from each other, yet so similar. Will is absolutely tender and warm, meanwhile Silas looks terrifying with his stony eyes.
I gulp, as they sit next to each other in front of me, looking more attractive than each other, making me feel like I have to make a choice. I find myself sweating and eager, staring at both of them as they do the same. I swear I can fucking sense how Silas undresses me with his eyes but Will looks at me as he would do horrible things to me in order to get his revenge for something I'm unaware of. And I would definitely be into it.
"Well, I seem to be your partner next few minutes." Aria's laugh is heard from my left.
My head snaps at her direction, then at Will. He spent night with her and didn't even apologized for leaving me. Now he has to be locked in a storage room with her next seven minutes. My eyes are burning, telling him how hurtful this is, not to go in, not to do this again. Maybe he will explain what happened last night, maybe he will say no to staying alone with Aria.
But no.
He only smiles and holds out a hand for her in front of me, as if he waits which one of us holds it. Aria does. They walk towards the storage room next to sofa as I watch them and see how Will peers back to see my reaction. Suddenly I catch Silas' gaze. His eyes look exactly like me. The heartbreak and desperation in his pupils are absolutely same as mine. His green eyes glisten with anger and pain, staring deep in mine. We share something unspoken, something unique and touching. I don't know how but I feel like I'm sharing this burden of heartache with him and it feels lighter on my shoulders.
We both realize what's happening in our minds and hearts. The guy I was falling for, the guy I intentionally took to one of my races and kissed, dumped me and ended up with someone else. I'm shattered. Absolutely devastated. And this. This right here made my eyes water.
