Jasper's POV

Watching the sun rising through the skyscrapers was breathtaking, the view was amazing.
But the girl sleeping next to me was an even more beautiful view.

I was so happy to be back, yes we had to hide but I was with Wanda, that's the most important.
I decided to let her sleep and left the room, walking to the kitchen.

When I got there I found the blonde guy, Steve I think it was, and the guy with... a metal arm? Why didn't I notice it before?
They were talking, they still hadn't noticed me.

-And I want to bring Nat on a date, I won't risk to lose her again- the metal guy, Bucky I think, said -I've lost her twice already, it won't happen again-.

-I'm sure she will say yes- Steve said -She doesn't admit it but she still likes you-.

Bucky sighed, I could feel him becoming more nervous. Apparently, he liked this Nat girl, I think she was the redhead, but was nervous to ask her out.

Eventually, I decided to show myself and enter the room, the two superheroes became silent.

-Good Morning- I said them.

-Good Morning- Steve said -Did you sleep well?-.

-I don't actually sleep, not really- I replied -Vampires don't sleep-.

-So no coffin?- Bucky said and I shook my head -Sam owns me 20 dollars-.

Steve and I laughed, while he finished his toast.
-Plans for today?- I asked.

-Not really- Bucky said -Probably train in the gym. You?-.

-Well, we can't really leave the building so... I guess we will just relax- I said.

-Wanda can't leave, you can- Steve said -You can walk around and explore the city-.

It got cloudy in the meantime, so it could have been a good idea, but I didn't want to leave Wanda here alone.

-You can go if you want- Wanda said from behind me.

-Stop reading my mind- I said smiling and she smiled too.

-I heard Nat needs to go somewhere, you can go with her and explore- Wanda said -I'll be fine, don't worry.

And that's how I found myself in the car with the redhead that day, the girl driving through New York traffic.

-I hate rush hour- she said and then whispered something in a language I didn't understand.

-We could've just walked maybe?- I said.

She looked at me and smirked, but it was one kind of smirk that makes you shiver.

-You really don't know how New York works- Nat said -And before you say it, no the subway isn't a choice either-.

-Do you have some kind of super powers too or...?- I asked and she smiled again.

-No, just experience- Nat said -I can read people easily-.

After long minutes we finally got to destination.
-So what are we doing here?- I said while we left the car and started walking.

-I'm here to talk to someone, business- the redhead said -You can wait here and then I have a few things to buy before going back to the Tower so I can show you the city-.

I nodded and she left, leaving me there.
Despite of the traffic, I liked New York.
Even if it was a few days that we were there, I felt like I knew it since forever.
What I didn't know is that everything, the happiness I felt, was going to disappear soon.

Wanda's POV

I was in my room, alone.
Jasper left with Nat and I decided to spend the morning reading.

I was happy that he spent time with my friends, this way they could have known Jasper better and eventually trusted him.

Suddenly there was a loud noise and a portal opened in the room.

-What? Strange, is this you?- I asked but no answers.

That portal was different though, it was like the ones that America used to create.
I approached and I felt some kid of energy taking me, carrying me through the portal.
I tried to use my magic but nothing, it didn't work.

The door opened, I spotted Clint entering the room and stopping when he saw the portal.
Then everything became black.

Third Person's POV

-What does it mean she disappeared?! What happened?!- Jasper and Nat yelled.

They just came back to the Avengers Tower when Clint told them what happened.

The guys were discussing about what to do, but Nat felt the need to leave and went to her bedroom.

She just lost her sister again, this couldn't be true.
Some moments later, Bucky knocked on the door and entered the room without waiting for an answer, sitting on the bed next to his girl.

-We're going to speak with Strange, he is more familiar about this kind of magic and may find out where Wanda is- Bucky said.

-I can't lose her again, I lost my family already, Yelena is somewhere on a mission and I don't even know if she is coming back soon, I can't lose Wanda too- Nat said -She was there when I thought I had no family left-.

-I'll always be here for you- Bucky said -We'll find her, I promise-.

And then he kissed her.
