Wanda's POV

-That night, our first date, what was the real reason why I was in danger?- I asked.

Jasper and I were in my backyard, laying on the grass next to each other.
Since that day when he told me he was a vampire he always spent the afternoon with me and we both revealed a new part of each other every time.

-There was a dangerous vampire around, my family and I were trying to... Well, she isn't supposed to be here, she wants to kill my brother's girlfriend as revenge for something that happened time ago, long story- Jasper explained.

-Oh... Sounds complicated- I said.

-Oh it is- he said -But we're close solving the problem hopefully-.

-I had a brother too- I said -Twin brother to be precise, his name was Pietro-.

-What happened? Is he in your universe?-.

-He died many years ago, he was killed by a robot- I said -I miss him so much, it is as if a part of me died that day-.

He sighed and no one talked for a while, enjoying the forest silence.

-My sister is throwing a party tonight, to celebrate graduation, do you want to come?- Jasper asked.

-A party? You mean a party with people?- I asked.

-Yeah, I can introduce you to my siblings too- he said -And if it gets too crowded we can hide in some room of the house, we can even go on the roof if you want-.

And that's how I ended at Jasper's house that night, surrounded by teens and a few vampires too.

-How is it going?- Jasper asked me while approaching. He was with a girl, short black hair and with a lot of energy.

-Well, I didn't kill anyone yet so I guess it is going well- I said smiling.

They both laughed and then Jasper introduced me one of his sisters, Alice; she seemed very nice and all her energy reminded me of that spider boy I met once, Peter I think, was it his name?

-And that's my brother with his girlfriend, Edward and Bella. Oh she is human by the way- Jasper explained.

-Oh really? How does this work? I mean, having partners that aren't vampires?- I asked.

-Well, no one is supposed to know about this, it must be a secret- he explained -You and Bella are exceptions-.

I nodded and suddenly a guy, Edward I think, approached and whispered something to Jasper.

-I have to go for a moment, you can stay here or leave or go somewhere more quiet while I am away- he said.

-I'll be around, don't worry- I said.

He nodded and left with his brother.

There were too many noises around, too many thoughts and my head was exploding, so I decided to look for a quieter place when I remembered Jasper talking about the roof.

I went to the garden and when I was sure that no one was looking I uaed my magic to fly on the roof.

I didn't know how much time passed, I was too busy looking at the stars, something my brother and I always used to do together when we were kids.

-Sorry it took this long- Jasper said approaching -I see you chise the roof at the end-.

-Yeah, too many loud thoughts back there- I said while he sat next to me -Is everything ok?-.

-Yeah... Well not really but we're working on it-.

-Can I help somehow?- I asked.

-No, I don't want to put you in danger- he said -I love you too much to risk that you get hurt-.

-Wait stop, what did you just say?- I asked. Did I heard well? Did he really said that?

-Said what?- he asked.

-You said you love me- I answered.

He froze, thinking about what he just said. He was panicking, I could see it from his face, so I decided to follow my instinct and kissed him.

He kissed me back immediately, his arms pulling me closer to him.

In that moment it was only Jasper and me, no vampires, no magic, no multiverse.

Just him, me and the stars.
