Wanda's POV

When we arrived in New York it was raining. I didn't miss the rain to be honest, it always made feel sad.

I managed to teleport us the closest to the Avengers Tower, trying to hide so no one would have noticed us, but we had to walk the last few minutes since I was exhausted for all the magic I used. I felt like I could sleep a week!

Once we entered the building we found all the team waiting for us.

-I'm so glad you managed to get here- Nat said smiling and hugging me.

She was like a big sister to me, my closest friend, she helped me through a lot and seeing her happy made me happy too.

-You'll be safe here- Tony said -I may not like you but I'm mot heartless-.

I smiled: he wasn't happy I was there but I guess that was something.

-Who's he?- Steve asked.

Steve was like the protective dad with me, he was always there when I needed someone to cry with.

-He's Jasper, we're... we're together- I said -Also, he's a vampire and not from this universe-.

-I thought vampires didn't exist- Sam said.

-That breaks your rule of the big three- Bucky said not losing time at making fun of Sam.

I swear, they were like kids sometimes!

After a long, endless tour around the Avengers Tower Jasper and I finally managed to go to our bedroom.

It was night but even though I was super tired I couldn't fall asleep.

-Are you still awake?- Jasper asked.

-Yeah.. Can't sleep- I said sighing.

-Your friends look nice- he said -That guy though, the one in the lab, he needs to start controlling his anger-.

I smiled, he was referring to Bruce. If only he knew what he would be able to do once he is super angry.

-What's in your mind?- I asked -I can't see it, it's frustrating-.

Jasper smiled, kissing me.

-Nothing, I just... - he stopped suddenly -Wanda, look at your hands-.

I did as he said and... my hands weren't black anymore!

-They're... Is the black magic gone?- I asked.

-It could be- Jasper said -Or maybe your body managed to absorb it somehow, making you stronger-.

-Stronger and more dangerous- I corrected him.

He smiled and kissed me; I kissed him back and when I looked at him I saw his eyes were red, meaning he was thirsty.

-Your eyes...- I said.

-Yeah, I... I should go hunt something- Jasper said.

-There aren't animals in New York, unless you want a pigeon- I said, moving my hair on one side of my head -Here-.

-I... I could kill you- he said.

-You already took blood from me, I know you can control yourself- I said smiling.

He took my head in his hands, exposing my neck even more.

A few seconds later he bit me; good thing I couldn't turn into a vampire since I was a witch, my magic neutralized his poison.
My hands were on his back, holding on to not fall.
It lasted a few seconds, when he stopped drinking I started feeling a bit dizzy for the blood loss and fell on the bed, but he got me.

-Lay down- Jasper said -You should sleep-.

-Now I won't have problems in falling asleep soon- I said smiling.

Indeed, I started seeing all black and fell asleep, Jasper next to me.

Third Person's POV

-Do you like him? the vampire guy?- Clint said.

The Avengers were in the kitchen, some were making breakfast and some just relaxing.

-I do, he seems a good guy- Natasha said.

-Well, if Nat says that then we should trust him- Steve said -She can read people better than anyone here-.

-Yeah but he's a vampire- Sam said -How can we trust him?-.

-Sam's right- Bucky said -We don't know anything about him-.

-Wait wait- Sam said -Did you just say I'm right?-.

-I want to take it back- Bucky said.

-Sam has a point, but I've never seen Wanda this happy- Bruce said -We can give him a chance-.

They all nodded, Bucky hugging Nat in a protective way.

-Bruce is right, Wanda deserves a chance to be happy- Steve said -Let's give him a chance-.
