Wanda's POV

After what happened, Jasper and I spent the day together at home, just relaxing and enjoying every single moment of it.

I remember we were on the sofa at night, watching a sit-com, when I closed my eyes; but when I woke up the following day I was in my bed and Jasper wasn't with me anymore.

I stood, looking at the calendar on the wall: today was... today was the anniversary of the day when Vision died.
I missed him so much, I would have never stopped loving him.
Yes, if he didn't die I would have never met Jasper, but... He will always be important to me, no matter what happens.

And in that moment I realized I couldn't risk to lose Jasper too, I wouldn't have been able to bear so much pain again.

I changed clothes quickly and walked downstairs, where I found out that someone cooked me breakfast.

Near the plate there was a note too:

I had to leave, family business, I'm not a great chef but I hope you enjoy your breakfast.

Jasper

I smiled and started eating: he made eggs, bacon and even got me an orange juice.
I must say it, the food was very good for being cooked by someone who never cooks.

-He has always been good at cooking even if he never admits it-.

I turned around and saw someone standing near the door: Alice.

-Yeah, the food is very good- I said -Why are you here?-.

She got closer, I could sense she was worried and angry too.

-You've put Jasper in danger- she said -I... I saw what is going to happen-.

-Wha...? I didn't put him in danger, what do you mean?-.

-Something is coming, they will hurt you and him- Alice said -This won't end well-.

-I won't let anything happen to him- I said -I promise-.

Something was wrong, since when she walked inside the house my powers have been alerted by something.

-I... I don't trust you- Alice said -That thing I saw looked very scary and powerful, something we've never dealt with before-.

I stood and got closer to her.

-We're going to win and I can show you how we will if you want too- I said, my hands turning red because of my hex.

-We're going to win like this- I said.

And then my hex hit her.

Jasper's POV

-Thank you for helping me Alice, I would have never been able to do it without you- I said.
I wanted to surprise Wanda, make her forget everything she was going through for a day, so I decided to organize a road trip and bring her somewhere, right after the fight.

-She'll love the trip- Alice said -You two will have a lot of fun-.

-Are you saying this because you saw it or?- I asked.

-Both- she replied smiling -She loves you-.
I nodded, amiling.

I would have never expected to find someone like Wanda in my life, someone that would have loved me like she did.
We were walking back home when Alice stopped, her eyes looking at something very distant.

-What is it? What are you seeing?- I asked.

-Wanda... She is in danger...- Alice said and I was about to start running when she stopped me -Don't go, it is dangerous!-.

-I have to, she needs help- I said -I can't stay here and do nothing-.

-Be careful- Alice said -The person she is fighting with looks very dangerous-.

-Don't worry, I'll be ok- I said and started running.

Resist Wanda, I'm coming to help.
