Wanda's POV

I was so happy that Nat was back, she has always been like a big sister to me.

-So, how is it going here?- she asked.

We were walking through the garden, it was a sunny day even though it was December.

-I'm sure you already know it, or you wouldn't be here- I said smiling.

Nat smirked, sighing.
-Ok yes, I know what is going on, Strange called me asking to come here- she said -But I want to hear it from you too-.

So I told her everything, how I dealt with Pietro's death, all that happened with Vision, me being in another universe.

-And here we are, talking while I am trying to fight something inside me that is literally eating me- I said.

Nat didn't say anything the whole time, she just listened. I wanted to read her mind, know what she was thinking but I knew she wouldn't have liked it.
When I finished talking she looked at me... and then she hugged me; I forgot how it felt being hugged, no one didn't hug me in so long.

-I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this- Nat said -You didn't do anything to deserve all this pain-.

-My magic is chaos- I said -I am dangerous-.

Nat looked at me, smiling.
-You are who you want to be- she said -Some arrow guy taught me that-.

I smiled, knowing who she was referring to.
-How is Clint?- I asked.

-He's good, finally retiring- Nat said smiling -I'm going to his place for Christmas, do you want to come with me too?-.

Yeah, Christmas was close and honestly I wasn't expecting to spend the holidays with anyone, especially after what I did.

-I'm sure they don't want me there- I said.

-Well, it was actually Clint's idea- Nat said -Laura agrees of course and there is going to be another person too, someone that Clint met and helped him during a mission-.

-Yeah but what if I hurt them? What if I hurt their kids?- I asked.

-You won't hurt them- Nat said and then turned around, starting walking back to the building -I'm leaving tomorrow morning, let me know if you're coming or not-.

I stayed there, snowflakes started falling slowly and silently.

What was I supposed to do? Go with her or spend Christmas alone?

Jasper's POV

-We're close, we're probably going to be there tomorrow- Alice said behind me.

We had been running for the past few days, trying to get to the other part of the continent. We were now taking a little break to hunt something, we were starting getting thirsty.
I nodded, looking at the waterfall in front of me.

-You're still thinking about Wanda, right?- Alice asked, approaching.

-Yeah... You really can't see anything about her?- I asked looking at her.

-No... Since she is in another universe I can't see anything- she explained -But I an sure Wanda is ok and healing-.

I nodded, sighing.
I missed her so much, now I understood what my brothers meant when they said they couldn't imagine their life without their lover.

-You'll meet her again- Alice said.

-Did you see it? We might even not survive- I asked.

-I didn't, but I feel it- she said -And we will win, don't worry-.

-How can you always be this positive?- I asked smiling.

Alice smiled too and we hugged.
After hunting a few animals we were back running, we still had too much to do and no time.
