After Vox left, I turned back to Alastor, a slight blush on his and my face. He had a very confused look on his face as he stared at me. I didn't want to walk home so I just snapped my fingers and teleported us to the lobby, Alastor trying to balance himself as I was still panicking from earlier. "What just happened...?" He asked after he stopped wobbling. "I um, teleported us to the hotel." I replied as I tried to catch my breath, huffing and puffing, trying to get air in my lungs. "That's not what I meant but ok."

After finally catching air in my lungs, I stood up straight and stretched, cracking my back as I did so. Alastor finally processed where we were and took a deep breath, slowly letting it out and closing his eyes. I looked over at him to see him and a raised eyebrow and crossed arms, tapping his foot slightly as he, from the signs he was showing, was waiting for an explanation from me. I chuckled nervously and scratched the back of my neck, about to start running away from embarrassment before he grabbed my arm and pushed me onto the couch, making me sit and he went back to his previous position, only this time glaring  down at me.

"Mind telling me what that was about? I really want to know what was going through that mind of yours at the time." I looked up at him and gulped, feeling helpless and embarrassed. I started fidgeting with my fingers as I thought of what was going through my brain at the time. What was I thinking? Why did I do that? Did I have another option? Could I have done something else? These questions replaced my thoughts, causing my nervousness to be increased momentarily. "I... um... I- I..." I couldn't form the words to tell him what was going through my mind, I couldn't even think without having a quiver in my head.

I finally found words to explain, taking a deep breath then letting out, staring back up at him and finding my voice. "I... I only did that so he would not press further about me saying I was with someone. You were the only option at the time that was believable. He wouldn't have believed it otherwise," I took another breath then resumed my thoughts. "If I would have said I was single, he would've pressed further and ask if him and I could be a thing. So I panicked and said what I said. I do regret my actions since I did catch you off guard... or in I made you uncomfortable," I stared at the floor as my voice started quivering, tears starting to well up from my state.

I looked back up at Alastor after a few seconds of staring at the floor, waiting for my tears to leave my eyes. He had a softer expression on his face and his foot stopped tapping a bit after I started talking. "So, you only did that because you panicked and had no other option but to prove that you were with someone, which was apparently me, just so Vox couldn't ask you out?" I nodded my head slowly. I felt the cushions be weighed down. I looked beside me and saw Alastor, reaching an arm up and wrapping it around my shoulders as a way of... comfort?

After a few seconds of silence, he spoke up. "Just... don't do it again, dear. Okay?" A small smile found its way on my lips as I nodded my head. "I do have a question though." I turned my head to face him, him doing the same. "Ask away my dear." I took another shaky breath as I was still recovering from earlier. Some may say I'm just an emotional piece of shit, but I'm actually not. I just never experienced any emotion a lot. So I over react when I'm being scolded or something along the lines of it. "Why did you wrap your arms around me when I kissed you?"

Alastor tensed up as I finished asking the question, his grip ever so slightly tightening. "It... was out of instinct dear. I wasn't expecting the kiss so I did what my gut told me." His muscles relaxed as he told me what happened. I nodded my head in understanding. "Now, I believe I have a question for you too, dear." I raised an eyebrow and looked toward him. "After we were at the café for a couple hours, and before Vox got there, did your trust in me go up a little? Even just a slight bit?" He took away his arm from my shoulders and did a motion with his fingers, showing a small amount in between his thumb and index finger.

"I guess. But that doesn't mean that I trust you fully, you still have a lot of work to do before that happens." He chuckled as he placed both his hands in his lap, his smile still permanent on his face. "I do have another question if you wish to hear." I rolled my eyes and leaned back in the couch cushions. "Okay, let's hear it." He chuckled a little more before stopping and looking in my direction. "Could you teach a few words of your language? It's quite fun to figure out what you say, but I would like to know what you say so I could laugh at the others for not understanding." I let out a small giggle. "I guess I could teach you a few things. But it's way funnier when I watch you guys try to figure it out by yourselves."

He rolled his eyes. "So, can you teach me or not?" A smile creeped its way on my lips. "Vi kan begynne nå. Skal jeg stille spørsmål på dette språket eller bare si tilfeldige ting. Eller til og med begge deler?" I asked him, his face blank with a hint of confusion in it. I guess we're starting here..
