Dally had come by a few days later and decided to take us down to the lake he found. "What are we even gonna do there?" I asked "I don't know! Jeez Johnny I have not a clue. I'm just bored and tired of the bummed out house." Dally said Pony sat in the back
When at the lake we all just sat under a tree.
"Guys look!" Dallas said pointing to something and then fell in the lake. Got all wet and muddy. He was pissed and me and pony laughed and laughed and laughed. "We are going back to the church. I'm so done." He said we all got in his car
He was in a tank top and his jacket was in the back with pony.
We got to the church
"Are you.. kidding me?" The church was on fire and there were kids and teachers freaking out. "Pony.. don't you dare." I got up and ran into that church. Pony and Dallas followed
The whole fire scene blah blah blah
"JOHNNY GET OUTTA THERE!" "ONE SECOND!" I threw the last kid out and hopped out of the church and fell down.
I heard a crash and a scream
"JOHNNY!" I blacked out.
I woke up in an ambulance
"Where's pony?" "In the ambulance behind us" "Oh" "We are taking you to a hospital. Your leg is burned pretty bad. And that one guy in the tank tops arm is all burned from hitting your leg. He put out the fire on ur leg." "Dallas?" "Thats his name?" "Yeah Dallas." "Your other friend pasted out after yelling your name."
I fell asleep and woke up in a hospital bed
Dallas was next to me "Johnny? Welcome back man" "Ugh my head hurts." "I bet. Anyways can u stand?" I managed to stand up and me and him walked down the hall way to meet pony in the other room. He woke up and hopped up and almost fell "Oh johnny! Man you scared me! I thought you were still in there!" "I wasn't" "No duh!"
We walking into the hall way where we say soda and Darry.
"Oh pony look at your hair! Your tuff tuff hair! And Johnny look at you!" "Hey soda" "Ponyboy.. I'm sorry." "Darry!" Pony said running into his arms "I thought we lost you. Like mom and dad.." Darry was crying Soda nodded me over and they hugged me tight. They hugged me for a long time
My mom showed up and almost beat the shit outta me. The cops were called and she was taken away. It was scary to see.
Darry signed forms and got us outta there. After seeing my parents weren't fit to take care of me they let Darry sign the form.
We went home and my leg hurt real bad. It was bandaged up but fuck it hurt.
"We got a court case in a week.. the trial for Johnny.. it's voided because of you saving them kids. But we gotta go anyways because of pony. Soda and him gotta prove I'm fit to take care of them.. and Johnny.. johnny your parents gave you up while you were gone. You're an orphan. Well kinda. If you want I can adopt ya and you can live with us." "Oh... in 3 days? They disowned me? Damn. But sure. I'd live with ya" "Alright. You boys head to bed alright" "Yeah take the bed I'm on the couch tonight" soda said "Good night guys. I'm real glad your back" Darry said <> A/n Yes it's short I wrote 3 chapters on the way to Idaho from Washington 😭 I'm not even there yet. I can probably for one more in. Everyone is sleeping and I'm writing. 🧍♀️ Well anyways I'm hyped for the next few chapters.
While writing this there was a beautiful sunset 😭 Made me think of them. I'm a huge Stevepop shipper but I do love Johnnyboy.
