Third Person POV

A month had passed since Y/N and Levi were engaged. If they were being honest, being engaged wasn't all that they had hoped for. They were constantly bombarded with questions about when they were going to get married, what the wedding would be like, who would be in the wedding. It was truly exhausting, and they were both really tired of it.

Currently, they were both sitting beside each other in the empty dining hall, sipping their tea. It was early morning, so the sun wasn't even fully over the horizon yet. It was completely silent until Y/N blurted out, "Let's get married."

It took Levi a moment to register what she had just said. "...What?"

She set her cup down on the saucer and turned to him, gaze serious and genuine, "Let's just get married."

"Right now?" He asked with wide eyes.

"I mean, not this very second," she shrugged, "Later today. I'll put on a dress, you can wear your suit, and we'll just go to the courthouse and have Zachary marry us."

Levi looked her over for a moment, trying to determine if she was doubting this in any way. But when he found no sign of doubt, he continued, "Are you sure?"

The girl smiled lovingly at her fiancé, reaching out and holding his hand, "Levi, I love you, and I want to be your wife. I don't care if we have a big extravagant wedding or just go full on elopement. All I know is that I want to spend my life with you."

Levi looked at her for a moment before letting out a relieved sigh with a smile, "I'm so glad you don't want a wedding. It's exhausting having everyone so invested in our personal lives."

"I know, right!" The girl laughed, relieved that he felt the same way, "It's been driving me crazy! I don't care about the wedding; I just want to get married."

"Okay. It's settled then," Levi nodded, "After breakfast, we'll go pick out some rings. Come back here and get ready, then we'll go get married."

Y/N smiled widely at the thought, breathing out a huff of disbelief, "It's gonna be so strange having a different last name."

"Y/N Ackerman," Levi smiled, kissing her on the forehead as he stood up to refill his teacup. "It's got a nice ring to it."

1 Hour Later...

Everyone else was up and eating. Levi and Y/N ate in a rush, which didn't go unnoticed by Hanji. "Woah, slow down you two. What's got you in a hurry?" She asked.

Without missing a beat, Y/N replied, "We're going out today. Don't worry, nothing that would interest you." While that was partially the truth, Y/N and Levi both knew that if Hanji caught wind of this, they would be in deep shit.

Thankfully, Hanji didn't question her at all, knowing that the two actually going out on dates was a rare occasion. "Okay, have fun," Hanji replied as the two put their dishes in the sink. While they were halfway out the door, Hanji shouted after them, "But not too much fun!" Rolling her eyes with a laugh, Y/N grabbed Levi's hand and practically dragged him out of the scout headquarters.

The two made their way to the jewelers. This really wasn't Levi's scene, and if he was being honest, he didn't care what the rings looked like. He was just excited to be marrying the love of his life.

"Oh, Captain Levi and Captain Y/N!" The older gentleman behind the counter greeted the couple. "What brings you here?"

Y/N blushed out of shyness and rubbed the back of her neck, "We're here to buy... wedding bands."

"That's wonderful!" The man chirped, "All of our wedding bands are over here." He guided the couple over to a smaller section with about 15 different sets of wedding rings.
