Our first day • Catnap x Dogday • Book 1

Chapter 4 (Everything is back to normal!! But rules are to be told)

~ Picky Pigys POV ~

You know Catnap isn't all that bad! He's really helpful and smart, besides I can see how he likes Dogday. But I have to set up the rules!

I get on the stage and look around, seeing everyone as I sigh, "We all know that this isn't easy for me! But I need to make some rules for us to be safe! Since everything is back to normal except for the toys (Except Catnap ofc-) we will have some rules!" I yell so everyone can hear

I explained the rules:

1. When we go outside to scavenge and search for food, must bring weapon and go in a group of 4

2. Guard duties will be double now due to the toys being more active

3. Nurses and medical supplies is needed for cures of insanity and any other sickness/wounds

4. Catnap is back and he needs to be protected from the prototype. Keep him in sight and make sure he doesn't sneak out!

5. We will be eating once a week since all 8 of us are here now, we need to save food

Not everyone was happy with the rules but they needed to be put down. I look at Catnap and nod as I tend to his wounds and Dogday's I then go to my house to relax and make plans

I hope that everyone will be okay and nothing goes bad

~ Hoppy Hopscotch ~

I get up and look around for Catnap, noticing him trying to leave as I run over to him and close the door. Covering it as Kicken pulls him away, "Hey you can't go out! The prototype will get you!!" I say, trying to convince Catnap to not leave

He looks at me upset as he sighs and his ears flop down, so does his tail, "I know Hoppy but.. it's boring here! I will be able to scout for more food easier! And the toys won't attack me!! Please.. we need the food.. I'm hungry.." Kicken looks at me as I look at him and sigh

grabbing a weapon and handing one to Kicken as I nod, "Fine. But we need to come with you. To make sure the prototype doesn't try anything." I say, Catnap's eyes lit up as I smile and giggle

Me, Kicken and Catnap head out as I left a note for Picky. Hopefully she is alright with this!

- An hour later -

Woah!! Within an hour we got so much food! Catnap wasn't wrong, he knows how to scavenge for more food

This is great! Now we can eat 3 times a week and we'll never be too hungry again!!

I look at Catnap and smile as he smiles back

Me and Kicken hold hands, I have such a huge crush on him! I'm glad that we're dating

We make it back and Picky hugs us. Being worried sick! Hehe silly picky, "Omg you guys are okay! Wait.. is that....more food? B-But how?!" I look at Catnap as he drops even more food! Scratch the 3 days a week. How about every day of the week!! I smile and giggle as Catnap turns back to normal!

He smiles as Picky and hugs her as he giggles, "It was me! I have a good scent for food since I've been around the areas the longest. No offense of course!" Picky giggles as she hugs him and cries. Bringing the food to the chest as she calls everyone to eat

Finally we can eat! Me and Kicken eat and chat as we had such a good time

Another day done and no one is killed, huh. Hopefully I didn't jink it! If I did I'm gonna punch myself-

Anyway after we were all done eating we all went to bed as I was exhausted! And so was Catnap, I could tell! Hehe :)
