"Bonnie, where are we going?" I groaned, it was midafternoon the following day. Bonnie had a tight grip around my arm, smiling and giggling as she pulled me out of the house.

She had told me to dress nice, so I reluctantly put on my new black dress and borrowed some of Polly's pearls. I didn't put my new hat on as it seemed too much. Bonnie on the other hand had a silk red dress on, with a black chocker that was encrusted with rubies. A white feather boa was wrapped around her arms and a strong shade of red lipstick spread across her lips.

As she dragged me outside I still had no clue what we were doing, she hadn't told me anything at all. It was completely out of the blue. "There's Tommy!" She smiled, pointing to the automobile that was parked outside of the house.

"What the hell-"  I muttered, getting dragged close to the automobile.

Bonnie shouted "I bagsy front seat!" as she let go of her arm and rushed towards the front of the motor, almost tripping on the cobblestones with her ridiculously large heels. Opening the back door of the car I rolled my eyes, still a bit annoyed about  Tommy being such a prick last night to Bonnie. Although Bonnie didn't seem to care she laughed trying to figure out how to work the car.

I almost had a heart attack when I heard a tap at the window, looking over my left shoulder I saw John and Finn banging on the window, "Oi! Heard you ladies are going to London!" John shouted through the class.

London?! London???  Bonnie looked furious as she rolled the window down, "Fuck off John!" She shouted, "This is a girl's night only!" Tommy placed his face into his hands, presumably from secondhand embarrassment.

"Then what is Tommy doing here?" John poked his head in the car, smiling because he had knew he won.

"He is my plus one!" Bonnie pushed his cheek moving him away from the window.

"Well, we're Freyas plus one!" He looked into the back seat giving me a little wave, "Me and Finn."

Finn moved up to the window, I hadn't spoken to him since we kissed two days ago "Isn't that right Freya?" He smiled, "We're your plus one."

I was so confused so I just decided to agree, "Uhmm yeah?" I looked at Bonnie's reflection in the windscreen. She looked pissed.

"Brilliant!" John chuckled, running alongside Finn to the other side of the car. Opening the door both Finn and John squeezed into the back. A whole side of me was pushed up against the car door, and the other side of me was pushed up against Finn. I couldn't decide which one was worse.

"Well isn't this fun?" Bonnie hissed, slouching in her seat.

"What's going on...?" I asked rather confused.

"We're going to some jazz club in London," Tommy replied, starting to drive out of Watery Lane, "It was Bonnie's choice...not mine."

"I can go get some London girls," John laughed, "Heard they will do anything for a bag of peanuts!"

"You are married John-" I rolled my eyes.

Bonnie joined in muttering under her breath "Bloody men."

"And what is that meant  to mean?" Finn snapped.

"All men want is sex." Bonnie hissed back.

"And...what is wrong with that?" John was now joining in, "Just because you're such a prude."

"A prude?" I laughed looking over at Bonnie.

John laughed wrapping his arms over his chest "Oh my shirt...My shirt is all wet!!" He was mocking Bonnie.

"That's enough..." Tommy muttered under his breath.

"My shirt..." John continued, laughing alongside Finn. I couldn't help but smile as well.

"Fuck off." Bonnie was annoyed, she kept glancing at John mocking her and everyone in the back laughing.

"My shirt....oh it's all see-through!" John was not stopping.

The motor came to a sudden halt as Tommy leaned over the seat pointing a finger in John's face, "If you..." He moved his finger to Finn, "And you carry on, I can assure you you will be kicked out here and either walk to London or get hunted by some mad farmer."

"Mad farmer?" A laugh escaped my lips as I said this, and Bonnie joined in laughing from the front seat.

"Who would win in a fight..." Bonnie pauses and looks over at Tommy who has already started to drive again, "Who would  win a fight between Tommy and a mad farmer?"

"Tommy of course." Finn smiles, "But the mad farmer..."

"I would root for the mad farmer!" John says, "He can poke Tommy with his pitchfork."

I join in as well laughing my head off, "Or send his army of sheep." Finn and John chuckle, as Bonnie bursts with a giggle. Tommy on the other hand looks annoyed and irritated that we are annoying him about his comment on a mad farmer.

Tommy's voice triggers with anger as he turns around  to face us in the back, not looking or caring about what is in front, "Do you want to walk to London?" He turns back to face the road.

"I know-!" Bonnie smiles, peering her head around the car seat. "Let's sing a song!"

"Fuck off-!" John laughs, "I ain't singing no song sober!"

Bonnie once again laughs, "Go on Freya you can sing," she smiles at me directly in the eyes.

"Uhhh." I look at Finn who is smiling eagerly, "No I will pass for now..."

Bonnie's smile fades a bit as  she slouches back onto the car seat, "Tommy...?" She murmurs, her voice sounding as If it has lost all hope.

"Maybe," He sighs, "If you catch me drunk later I will sing you a song."

"I will keep track of that," I laugh, "Never heard you sing in my life."

John butts in, "And that's a bloody good thing." and suddenly the car is in hysterics again.

It took several hours to reach London. Streetlamps lined every street, teeming with people. Tommy drove to the Jazz Club district, it all clicked together now. Bonnie had been kicked out of one of the biggest Jazz Clubs in Birmingham, so she would have to go to London to not get embarrassed.  Jazz Clubs were on every corner of every street, queues spilling out onto the street.

Finding a place to park was the first struggle, we ended up having to park at least a minute's walk away from the Jazz Clubs due to motors being almost everywhere. Getting out of the motor I could hardly stand, the back seat had barely any legroom let alone being pushed up to the side of the car by Finn and John. Everyone tumbled out of the car, stumbling like drunks onto the London cobblestones.

John stumbled ahead, muttering under his breath about London girls. Bonnie and Thomas also walked a few paces ahead, both seemingly in a hurry to get to the Club. While Finn and I stayed at the back, chatting about little things.

London was new, London was big. Yet Tommy, John, and Finn made me feel safe. I knew the Shelby name was feared and I could use that to my advantage, even if I was not a Shelby myself. Finn and I walked close together, our hands slightly brushing. Causing my heart to occasionally skip a beat.

Ten minutes later Bonnie giggled running up to the queue of a specific Jazz Club. Queues were piling out of it and a sign read "Grand Opening". John was already stumbling in, turning back to Finn I gave a small smile, hoping we could have a rare moment of alone time inside.

But a familiar Italian voice interrupted my thoughts, "Ladies, I'm so glad you could make it!"

Emelio.
