Puss in Boots in Aladdin

Chapter 5#

The moon shone brightly upon the dimly lit gardens, where Kitty Softlaws put on the most ragged robs she could find. She ran across the lawns where she met a tall tree that hovered over the think tall walls of the open palace. She climbed it but then felt a strong tug at the back of her skirt. 

Kitty turned to see Perrito, her fellow little advisor trying to pull her down. "Don't go Kitty!" He said sadly as Kitty turned to him with hurt in her eyes. 

"Sorry Perrito, but I can't stay here and have my life lived for me." She said cuddling him. "I'm gonna miss you.." She said and gave him one last hug as she headed up the tree. And Perrito whined sadly. "Goodbye.." She whispered longingly as she disappeared on the other side of the wall. 

Perrito rested on all fours and closed his eyes going to sleep.

The busy streets rustled with with excitement as Puss and Abu were on their normal thieving routine. "Okay! Go Abu!" Said Puss giving him a little push. Abu smirked and did as he was told creating a distraction technique by grabbing one of the man juicy watermelons as if he were taking it for himself. Meanwhile, Puss stole a watermelon himself as the sellsman was busy with Abu. Together, they made a great team. 

Kitty, walked down the streets, as she started at the people with much curiosity, it was so interesting to her to see such sights. She wondered down looking at the pretty things they sold. "Pretty, gata, buy a pot! You'll find some profit in glass or silver!" he exclaimed as she smiled hut passed him. 

"Sugar beans! Sugar beans and pastatio!" Another shouted as she yet again shook hervhead but smiled. "Would a pretty gata like a necklace? A pretty necklace for a pretty lady~" the man flirted as she passed him also.  

"FRESH FISH!!" Another shouted scaring her as she chuckled and backed away. She realized that she had backed away into a flame throwing man, as he accidently swallowed the fire to quick and then burped it all out. "Excuse me" She giggled as he gasped and how the fire came out so quickly. Kitty didn't realize that her hood had fallen off so quickly, but she managed to keep it back on. 

Puss looked around when his eyes met Kitty as she apologized once again. 

He was absolutely mesmerized by her beauty. "Woah..." Puss said her reflection in his eyes as he stopped eating to take a closer look. Abu was confused as he tried to wake Puss up, finding that he couldn't due to his dreaming. 

Kitty walked around a bit more as she bumped into a little boy trying to reach an apple. He was part of the poor community. "Ohh, you must be hungry." Kitty said kindly getting the little ones attention as he nodded. 

"Here you go~" Kitty said handing him an apple absent mindedly. The little boy ran away scrambling from the markets. Just then, the buff Apple seller stopped Kitty from walking away. 

"You better be able to pay for that..." He sneered as Kitty turned to him. "Pay?" she asked confused, she had never been asked to pay for anything before. "Nobody steals from my cart!" He grunted as he roughly took Kitty's wrist in his hands. 

"I-I don't have any money." Kitty laughed nervously as he yanked her roughly with him as she gasped. "Thief!" He yelled as she was scared. "L-look please, if you let me go to the palace I can get some from... The sultan!" She exclaimed as the man showed no mercy. 

Puss watched from afar worried and angry on what this man was doing. "Do you know what the penalty for stealing is?!" He said furiously as he set her wrist on the wooden platform raising his weapon, Kitty tried to get free as she was terrified and begging him to stop.  Just as he was about to cut her, husband fist was caught by Puss in the midst of the shouting of townsfolk. 

"Thank you kind sir, I'm so glad you found her." Puss said shanking his hand pretending as the man looked confused at his own hands. Puss secretly handed Kitty the man's weapon as he turned to her pretending to be frustrated. 

"I've been looking all over for you!" He said tapping the tip of her nose which made Kitty very confused. "What are you doing?" She asked whispering and giggling as Puss told her to just play along. 

Before they could walk away, the man stopped him. "You ah, know this girl?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Sadly yes, she is my sister. She is a little crazy." Puss grinned widdiling his finger around and putting his paw on the man's shoulder pretending to whisper. 

Kitty scoffed and put her hands on her hips as the man grabbed Puss by his shirt. "She said she knew the SULTAN!" He said angrily. "Hehe, she thinks the monkey is King Sherman." Puss said making up a story. As Abu tried to play along as well. Kitty, understanding his plan, bowed to Abu indicating that she was indeed crazy. "Ohhhh wise Sultan, how may I serve you..." She said suppressing her laughter.

"Tragic isn't it?" Puss told the man while smoothly grabbing an nearby apple with his foot. The man watched in amazement at the whole scenery. "But, anyways, no harm done."Puss said smiling as he wrapped an arm around Kitty saying. 

"Now common sis, let's go see the doctor~" The man watched still frustrated, but he let them go.  "Oh hello doctor, how are you..." She said to a camel still pretending to be crazy. 

"Oh no no no, not that oneee." Puss said playing along. 

"Common sultan." Puss told Abu as he pretended he was indeed the sultan and made his own bow. Unfortunately, as he did so, many apples and jewelry fell out of his looted vest. Abu freaked out and so did the two felines. 

"Come back here ou little thieves!!" He exclaimed as they scrambled away.
