Chapter 8#

Victor sneakily opened the heavy sliding door the opened the relaxation hall where a fire place settled in a quiet mood. He looked around before entering in.

"Victor??" Kitty called still furious. Victor gasped quietly as he turned around and chuckled. "Princess?" He bowed with a fake smile just as Iago came in triumphantly to be smashed into the door by Victor. 

"How may I be a service to you?" He asked. "The guards just took a gato from the market on YOUR orders." She said sneering closer to him. "Whom your father has charged me with keeping peace in Agrabah and the gato WAS criminal." He glared. Kitty impatiently demanded, "what was his crime?" Victor gritted his teeth as he answered,"why-" Before Iago cut him off. 

"I can't breath Victor!" He whispered but Victor simply ignored him. "Kidnapping the princess of course." He lied. "Oh yeah like that-" Iago started but Victor shut him up by slamming the door.  "He didn't kidnapped me I ran away!" She said annoyed that he was this stupid. 

"Oh! Dear, oh how frightfully upsetting I had known," Victor said trying his best to put on some face. "What do you mean?" Kitty asked very worried. 

"Sadly, the Gatos sentence has already been called." He said scratching his chin. "What sentence?" She whispered her voice cracking. 

"Death." He said coldy, and the dimmly lit room seemed to turn darker as he said so. Kitty gasped heartbroken as she covered her mouth. 

"By beheading." He added dramatically. 

"No!" She whispered with tears in her eyes. "I am exceedingly sorry princess." He said eyeing her chest as he placed his hands on her shoulders. Kitty broke away furiously. "How could you?" She said still unable to process what she had heard. As she stormed away. Victors careless expression never changed as he made his way to do his own business once again. 

Iago finally broke free with a loud grunt and hopped onto Victors shoulder coughing. "So, how did it go?" He asked casually. "I think she took it... Rather well." He grinned evily.

Kitty continued sobbing on the edge of her enormous fountain as Perritobeing the therapist that he was, made his way to comfort her. "It's all my fault Perrito, i didn't even know his name!" she added as he rubbed against her. She wiped away the tears as she hugged him. "It'll be alright Kitty, I promise." He said.
