Puss in Boots in Aladdin

Chapter 10#

The wind blew through a storm of Sandy hills as lightning struck and Puss, the old man, and Abu traveled to the cave of wonders. 

"WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER?"  The great Tiger  growled from the sand. Puss could barely believe his eyes as he saw such a beast. 

"Uhh-uh It is I, Puss In Boots." He said backing away. "HMMM YOU LEAVE NOTHING BUT THE LAMP." Growled the Tiger with a little less intimidation than before.  "See lad! Fetch me the lamp! And you will receive your reward!" The old man said mischievously. Puss hesitated, but went on through, after all, he was the diamond in the rough. 

"Common Abu." Puss whispered as the rat shivered in fear. He entered the mouth of the ferocious sand beast with great caution. The amount of stairs was unimaginable, it lowered to a great depth. 

There it was, the reddened entrance to the most glorious of glorious sight, the most gold Puss has ever seen. Towers upon towers of good cups and gold coins and even gold statues lay around everywhere.  "Would you look at that? Just a handful of this stuff would make me richer than King Sherman!" Puss awed as Abu ran over to a blue violet carpet. 

"ABU! Don't. Touch. Anything. We have got to find that lamp." He demanded as Abu groaned. The carpet that once laid on the ground secretly moved on its own following the duo. Abu had his suspicions. He swiftly turned around to find the carpet flat on the ground again. The same thing happened again and again until Abu caught it and jumped away to tell Puss. 

He babbled some unknown language that Puss (somehow understood) as he turned to where Abu pointed. "Abu will you knock it off?" Puss said annoyed as Abu trudged along frustrated. The carpet continued to paranoi and ANNOY the rat as it poked him and hid. Abu was starting to get mad as he finally caught the carpet above him. 

He let out a screechy screech and fumbled away traumatised. The rat ran to his pall who once again didn't believe him. "Abu?!? Please! Stop-" Puss said before Abu grabbed his face pointing at the carpet who at last showed up for all to see. 

Puss stood in awe. "A magic carpet?!?" He grinned, "common! Common out, were not gonna hurt you!" He cooed as if the carpet where a puppy. The carpet waddled over on is bristle ends as it picked up Abu's hat, dusted it, and gave it back to the little monkey. Abu was still creeped out as he jumped away from the carpet and barked at it. 

"Don't worry little guy, Abu isnt gonna bite" Puss laughed. Abu snatched the hat from Puss's hands as he scowled and squeaked at the carpet. The rug looked offended, if a rug could even looked offended Puss was sure of it. 

The little mat walked away looking sad. "Hey wait! Don't go! Maybe you can help us!" Puss said knowing that finding a lamp in all this gold could take hours. The rug cheered up again as it jumped in joy swirling around the duo as Puss laughed. 

"See, were trying to find a lamp." Puss said as the mat immediately knew what he wanted and motioned for then to follow it. "I think he knows where it is!" Puss said happily.
