When Kara awoke, her shoulder was aching and her body seemed weaker. She sighed and leaned back against the pillow, watching the clock tick on the wall across from her.

"Kara?" Tony's voice cut though her head and she rolled over to see him standing there, holding a cup of water for her. "How are you feeling this morning?"

"I've been better." She mumbled, taking the water in her uninjured hand. "I'm still feeling weak."

Tony frowned and looked at her vitals. "You should be feeling stronger by now. I'll get Bruce to exam you."

Kara nodded, sipping the water as it ran down her dry throat. "How's, um, hows Steve?"

She felt guilty about snapping at him earlier, hoping he wasn't too pissed off. Tony just shrugged.

"Seems fine to me. I think he's out for a run right now. I'll send him this way when he gets back," Tony offered. Kara nodded.

As Tony left, Buckys voice sounded and Kara jumped, forgetting he was there.

"Am I not enough Supersolider for you?" Bucky teased and Kara rolled her eyes, turning to face him.

"No." She grinned. Bucky feigned a hurt look, dramatically wiping away a invisible tear.

"That hurt." Bucky jumped out of his bed, walking over to her and Kara raised her eyebrows.

"Are you supposed to up?" She questioned, watching as he walked around, his metal arm sitting on the bedside table, making him look disproportionate. Bucky grinned.

"Probably not. But I'm bored." He stuck his head out the curtain and grabbed a snack off the table, handing a bag of chips to Kara. She took them and placed them on her bed, wondering if she was even allowed to eat yet.

"James Buchanan Barns."

Kara snickered as he jumped when Steve walked into the room, giving his best friend a look. "Really?! Two days. Tony said wait two days for food."

Kara watched the interaction, trying not to laugh, the movement making her shoulder hurt. Steve finished glaring at Bucky before turning to Kara and looking at her and it's an unreadable look.

"How are you?" He asked curtly and Kara felt her heart sink. He was hurt. She sighed and looked into his eyes.

"I'm alright ..." she responded softly, feeling Buckys eyes on them. She willed him to go away and as if reading her mind, he stood up again and awkwardly pointed outside before just slipping out. Kara waiting until she was gone. "I'm sorry."

Steve continued to look at her, his face softening slightly. Kara fidgeted with her blanket. "Will you ... sit down?"

Steve nodded, slowly sitting on the bedside chair. She watched him, swallowing. "Steve — I really am sorry for snapping. I know it wasn't your fault. I was just shocked. Scared."

There was a moment of silence, as they looked at each other.

"I know," he replied quietly, smiling softly. "Wanda is still in containment. She's calming down."

"Is everyone else okay? What about Morgan?"

Steve nodded, reaching out, and gently taking her hand in his. "Everyone is okay. Morgan's fine. Tony's already rebuilt the damage— nanotechnology and whatnot."
