The following morning, Issei met and spoke with the City Lord that he beat up last night. Even knowing this, Issei was still indifferent. Why? Because this world is based on strength. The City Lord was being unreasonable by disturbing Issei without proof for accusation. If Issei was any other person, then that person would have died with the way that the City Lord was being unreasonable.

"So? What the hell do you guys want?" Issei said. He wasn't even taking them seriously. Issei didn't have time for this as Yang Xin was waiting for him to start their lesson, and Ning'er would be coming by to have breakfast. "Last night, you disturbed my sleep. Something about me being a kidnapper or something. Do you have proof that you would forcefully enter my abode?".

"Well...No..." Ye Zong said. It was his fault for making a wrong deduction of the situation and jumping the gun. "Let's set aside the kidnapping accusation... I want to speak to you about your altercation with Shen Yue".

"If you're thinking that I was the one responsible for the attack on the Sacred Family, then you'd be right," Issei said. Ye Zong and Ye Xiu were shocked that Issei would admit to his crime. "You see, that would happen to people who try and harm me. I won't show them any mercy. If you're worried that I might attack the other families, you have nothing to worry about. Unless you do something to harm the people I care about or me. Do you understand?".

"If that's true, answer this question," Ye Zong said. There must be a reason for someone as powerful as the young man in front of them to come to Glory City. He wouldn't have come only for sightseeing, right? "What's your purpose for coming to Glory City?".

"I came here only to purchase herbs for alchemy," Issei said. That was true. Issei came to Glory City only to buy the herbs he could use for alchemy. But he never thought that he would meet two lovely ladies. Although, one of them was too young. "As long as you leave me be, I'll be gone in a few weeks".

If a Demon Spiritualist were to absorb the Zhenqi Gather Pill, they would destroy their cultivation as the energy are different from one another. "If you want a pill to speed up your cultivation, you'd need soul enhancing pills such as Soul Assembling Pills, Soul Nurturing Pills, Soul Concentration Pills, and Soul Tempering Pills. Something I can make".

"Those are all lost formulas!" Ye Xiu said. He might not be an alchemist, but he knows about all the pills that Issei noted. "Can you really make those pills?!".

Ye Zong looked at Ye Xiu. When Ye Xiu saw this, he whispered to Ye Zong what the pills were that Issei mentioned.

"How about we make a deal, kid?" Ye Zong said. If Issei can really make the pills, he said, it would help boost the power of Glory City and better protect it from the Demon Beast, even with the destruction of the Sacred Family. "If you're willing to sell us a few hundreds of those pills, we'll forget about you destroying the Sacred Family. They were a menace to being with".

"Just a few hundred? Do you think that would be enough to help the people of Glory City?" Issei said. A few hundred pills were easy for him to make. Since Yang Xin was still asleep, Issei decided to cook breakfast for Yang Xin and Ning'er.

As Issei finished cooking, Ning'er knocked on Issei's door, and she was in a lovely mood.

"Hey, Ning'er. What's got you in a good mood?" Issei said. He then wanted to tease her. "Could it be that you smelt the food I could and rushed over here?".

"N-No!" Ning'er said. That was not entirely true. When Ning'er was getting close to the Red Leaf Inn, she smelt the food a delicious fragrance and knew that it was Issei's cooking. So, she rushed over. "The reason I'm happy was due to the rumour I heard about the Sacred Family being destroyed, including their patriarch. I don't have a clue who did it, but I'm thankful for them".

"Well, I accept your thanks," Issei said. He then smiled at Ning'er, who was shocked upon hearing what Issei said. "Do you remember the altercation with Shen Yue?".

"I do," Ning'er said. She remembered it clearly as she tried to protect Issei that day. "I remember that you told me you wanted the attention on you rather than me".

"That's right," Issei said. However, he didn't think that the idiot would send assassins. "I thought that Shen Yue and Shen Fei might come at me personally, but instead, the cowards sent assassins to kill me. So, I cut off their manhood and heightened their pain receptors by a million times".

Ning'er sucked air between her teeth. What she heard from Issei was truly brutal. Issei isn't someone to be messed with. His retaliation is brutal. Thankfully, Ning'er isn't someone that wants to antagonise Issei. Instead, she is someone that wants to gain his affection.
