The following morning in Glory City, Issei walked with Raynare to search for a herbal shop that sells Alchemy ingredients. They searched everywhere, but they were unfamiliar with the place.

After a moment of walking, Issei and Raynare arrived in an area with people selling in stalls. Most of the weapons, defensive equipment and other things were useless to him, but there was one item that he found that made him smile, Purple Haze Grass.

Issei remembered it within the knowledge he got from (Master Alchemist). Purple Haze Grass has over sixty uses, but the people of Glory City aren't knowledgeable about it as its uses were lost to the ages.

"Excuse me," Issei called. The stall owner looked at Issei and saw that he was wearing unfamiliar clothing, but the quality was luxurious. This made the man smile as he was finally going to be able to sell his Purple Haze Grass. "How much are you selling all your Purple Haze Grass?".

"Twenty Demon Spirit Coins for the lot," The stall owner said. The amount he said was overpriced because people liked to barter, but Issei isn't one to barter. Immediately, the stall owner saw that Issei was giving him the money. "Thank you for your patronage".

"Can I ask you where I can buy more Purple Haze Grass?" Issei said. The stall owner looked at Issei with a weird look. Issei already bought quite a bit, and Purple Haze Grass didn't really have any other uses except for keeping mosquitoes away. "If you give me the information I need, I'll give you a hundred demon spirit coins".

The stall owner bowed and accepted the money. Rather than just tell Issei and Raynare the location of a shop that sold Purple Haze Grass, the stall owner brought Issei to the shop instead. Finally, Issei was brought to a shop that sold alchemy ingredients. After bringing Issei to the shop, the owner went back to sell his remaining merchandise.

Issei was surprised when he entered the alchemy shop. The person manning the floor was Yang Xin.

"Yang Xin?" Issei called. He was surprised. Issei thought with Yang Xin's mannerism, she would be in a higher position. "Are you the owner of this shop?".

"I'm not the owner," Yang Xin said. That's right, Yang Xin doesn't own the shop as it isn't owned by a single person. "This shop is owned by the Alchemy Association".

"Hmm...Are you part of the Alchemy Association?" Issei asked. Yang Xin nodded. That was good if Yang Xin was part of the Alchemy Association. The previous day, Yang Xin helped Issei and Raynare. He was planning to give her something in return. But first, he plans to buy all the Purple Haze Grass. "I want to purchase all the Purple Haze Grass you have. How much would that cost?".

"We have over a thousand catties of Purple Haze Grass," Yang Xin said. She then started calculating the amount of Demon Spirit Coins that would be. "That would be Ten-Thousand Demon Spirit Coins".

"Great! I'd like to purchase them all," Issei said. The Purple Haze Grass would be the new replacement grass in his Dimensional Farm. Issei is planning to change all the ordinary plants into something more magical. "I'd also like to purchase all your alchemy ingredients".

"Hah...There is no persuading you," Yang Xin said. She only met Issei the other day, yet she already had some understanding of his attitude. "Fine! With the amount of inventory we have, it would cost Two-Hundred-and-Twenty-Million Demon Spirit coins".

"Good, that's less than I was estimating in my head," Issei said. He was bluffing. Issei had no idea how big the warehouse was. So, there was no knowing how much inventory there would be. Also, Issei didn't even know the cost of each ingredient in the first place. "Here, all the money should be there".

Yang Xin bowed her head and got to work. She gathered all the ingredients on the floor and in the warehouse. Yang Xin kept all the ingredients inside a storage ring. With the number of ingredients in the warehouse, Yang Xin had to use four storage rings.

"Here, all the ingredients are there," Yang Xin said as she handed the rings to Issei. "I'm curious. Are you an alchemist?".

"The best there is," Issei said. That was no exaggeration. Although he only got a Legendary rarity knowledge from the Gacha, it was enough to surpass all Alchemist multiple universes. Issei wishes to receive the God Rarity Divine Alchemy Knowledge in the future. "This is no exaggeration".

Yang Xin looked at Issei with a sceptical face. The other day, Issei didn't hesitate to say that he would kill all the Sacred family if they messed with him. And now, he even dares call himself the best alchemist. Yang Xin didn't know where Issei got the confidence, but she easily believed it to be true for some reason.

"By the way, do you have any Pen and Paper?" Issei asked. Yang Xin reached under her desk and handed the items to Issei. Yang Xin looked at Issei as he wrote sentence after sentence of words. She didn't know what he was writing. Once Issei was done, he handed the paper to her. "Here, a little gift for you. A thank you for helping us the other day".

Yang Xin tool the pieces of paper, which is more than sixty pages. She looked through it, and she started shaking. The reason for this is Issei gave her a list of uses for Purple Haze Grass and Tiger Gaze Grass.

"Are you serious about all these uses?" Yang Xin didn't dare believe what she was reading. Sixty! Not one, not two, but sixty uses! "This isn't a joke, is it?".

"You can go and test it out," Issei said. He was smirking as the knowledge given by him had been lost to the ages. The Purple Haze Grass can be used alongside five other herbs to make a bath that would nourish the soul force and have a beautifying effect, but it can also be used in making Soul Assembling Pills and Spiritual Enhancing Pills to increase its potency. "This can be proof of my words earlier".

Yang Xin went and told the attendant to gather all the ingredients on the list so that they could do some tests, but she had forgotten that Issei had bought everything in the shop. So, Issei handed the items on the list to her.

After an hour, three of the uses given in the list were real. That would mean the remaining uses are too! Yang Xin looked at Issei and bowed her head.

"Mr Issei, I Yang Xin wish to be your student!" Yang Xin said. Earlier, when Issei said he was the best, she already felt his words to be authentic. And now that there was proof, she wasn't willing to let such a chance go. She wavered when she saw that Issei wasn't feeling comfortable, but she didn't want to let such a chance go. "I'm willing to do anything to become your student!".

"Aren't you older than I am?" Issei said. It's not that he was unwilling to take Yang Xin as a student. Far from it. Issei saw how determined Yang Xin was at learning Alchemy. "Also, I'm not staying in Glory City for long. I'll be leaving in about a month or so".

"I'm willing to follow wherever you go!" Yang Xin said. That's true. She was willing to follow Issei if she was accepted as a student. After all, she had no family in Glory City, and her colleagues in the Alchemy Association looked down on her achievements just because she was a beautiful woman. All believe that her accomplishments were gained by currying favour with her body. "I don't have much connection here in Glory City. I have no family, nor do I have any friends. I've been isolated within the Alchemy Association due to rumours going around! So, even if I were to follow you to leave Glory City, I, Yang Xin, am willing!".

Issei looked at Raynare, and she just shrugged her shoulders. Issei covered his face with his palm. But looking at Yang Xin, she does have a talent for Alchemy. Issei wasn't losing anything by accepting Yang Xin as a student. In fact, he could even help her make pills and herbal baths when he's busy.
