Cleo's POV
"I can't believe you still talk to him. I haven't seen him since I moved; can you believe he didn't even call me?!" Grace laughed as we ate our food
"He was dating Fynland at the time so it's not like I had much of a choice" I said as I shook my head
Today I decided to hangout with Grace and just catch up Before she went back to LA
"You know, I never understood what she saw in him. She came from a background of wealth only to pine after a man who had nothing to offer her" grace said as she shook her head
"She loved him" I shrugged
"What was there to love? He talked about her like she was the gum under his shoe and he was way more into her old best friend"
"Old best friend?" I asked
"Yeah, you remember the really thick girl we used to make jokes about because she was always at the park whenever we'd go? Her name was Alyssa" she said as she waved her French fry around
"Wait-" I asked as I sat up in my seat trying to connect the dots
"Shes the one everybody called A1 because they said her head game was on point" Grace said as she tried to jog my memory
"Oh my go-" I replied lowly
"That girl had the nose of a money hungry hound dog" she scoffed
"She tried to talk to Jayson" I admitted
"What?" Grace asked
"She's extremely skinny now-"
"pretty sure she's had a bunch of work done" Grace pointed out
"She definitely only had a nose job" I nodded
"Not surprised" Grace shrugged
"She's the girl who keeps popping up at his games"
"Whatever you do keep her away from your man."
"So I should be worried that she's popping up at his games?"
"In your case? No" she smiled
"But you just said that she-"
"Cleo she knows how to weasel her way in with boys..honey you got a MAN and it's clear he's not going for that" she smiled
I already trust Jay but hearing someone else speak highly of him was big for me
"She's been to at least 4 different games now" I admitted
"She's trying to get her foot in the door so she can weasel her way in. Her problem is that the door she's in front of is glued shut from both sides. Jayson isn't letting her in and he damn sure ain't letting your ass out" she laughed
"Has she ever tried anything with king?"
"No, I haven't seen her since I bumped into her in Maryland on the beach, she had a man with her at the time...no telling if he was fully hers but I just know she wasn't alone"
"Oh so she's all over the state?" I scoffed
"A money hungry hound dog is gonna be wherever the money resides" she said as she shook her head
Before I could say anything my phone rang
"That's probably your husbandddd" Grace teased
"I wish; it's my mom" I laughed before answering
I started to let my mom know that I had company and would have to call her back but Grace popped her head into the camera
"Hi!" She smiled as she waved
