                  Jaylen's POV

"So what do you have a taste for?" I asked Grace as I backed out of the driveway

"How much are you willing to spend?" She asked

"No limit"

I swear I saw her smirk

"El compadre on sunset" she nodded

"never heard of it, put in the address" I said as I looked down at my phone

"It's a Mexican restaurant; they have good steak fajitas" she said as she grabbed my phone

"777888"

"What's that?" She asked

"The passcode to the phone" I chuckled

"Angel numbers?" She asked as she unlocked the phone

"Yeah" I nodded

I was surprised she knew what it was

"7's are for luck which you don't even need, you're good at your job" she said while putting the address into the phone which instantly connected to the car

"The luck helps" I chuckled as I followed the directions

"The 8's are the only thing that makes sense because balance is necessary" she replied

"So what am I supposed to replace the 7's with?" I asked

"2's to insure that you're always in the right place at the right time" she replied

"I'm with you right now so I'm pretty capable of doin that on my own" I shrugged

I saw her smile from the corner of my eye

"That was corny" she laughed

"You're smiling so it worked" I chuckled

"Yeah..I guess it did." She smiled

"So..tell me about yourself"

"Uh.. I was born and raised in LA, I don't really have any fun childhood stories to tell, I graduated high school top of my class with a 4.0 grade point average, I went to college for 2 and a half years before I dropped out-" she started

"Why?" I asked

"Why I dropped out?"

"Yeah" I nodded

"I went for Fine arts and science of photography but after a year I realized that I was more comfortable in front of the camera rather than behind it. I stayed a little longer because I didn't think I'd make it anywhere without a degree" she explained

"But you left.."

"I thought WWCD" she shrugged

"What's that?"

"What would Cleo do?" She giggled

I smiled to myself

I'm a family man and I'm really big on family values so I loved the relationship she had with her sister

"Before we knew for sure that we were related we were just really good friends. She was the one who taught me how to stand up for myself, how to fight, and how to leave when something didn't suit me but we lost touch after I moved away."

I just listened as she talked

"During my college years I was unhappy as hell and I knew for a fact that if I could call Cleo and tell her what my issue was she'd just yell at me and tell me to go do what I wanted to do..so I did. I found a photographer, got some headshots done, and go to work finding an agency that would hire me with no experience" she nodded
