Slowly, he made his way over to the peir. Gelatin knew he had to capture them. Time was running out, and he was afraid if he wasn't fast enough now, he'd lose it all. The boat was small, but only he'd be going, and it was surely big enough for two more passengers. If they refused, he had ropes to take them by force.

Without a second thought, he began to row the boat across the ocean. He knew it would be some time before he caught up with them, but it would make him a hero. Who doesn't want to be seen as a hero? A knight certainly wants to be seen as a hero.

Despite that positivity as the boat splashed its way through the water, he found himself second-guessing. Not once had he known what she wanted. That wasn't important, he reminded himself, but he couldn't help but feel bad that he would be putting an end to what was likely was extremely joy. Maybe that's what the black rose he found earlier was trying to warn him about? That he would be the destroyer of someone's joy. A killer, possibly. He just needed to hurry up with this job, and then he wouldn't have these thoughts anymore.

"I finally got out of that place," Leafy explained. "All thanks to Firey here."
A gentle breeze surrounded them as Evil Leafy didn't respond. She didn't seem to have any need to; she knew why anyone would want to leave that place.
"Could you help me? I know they've sent people after me... I mean, of course they have. I'm afraid, is all: I never got any fighting practice, so I'd be useless in battle," Leafy continued.
A nod was placed in response by the other,"Of course. Maybe you can convince them... that this is who you were meant to be with."
"I highly doubt that. There's a strict no towards any dragon kind; apparently, King Four was quick to kick out any, even those that branched off of his own kind.
"I haven't been there in years," Evil Leafy murmured. "I hadn't realised he kicked out his own kind. All because of some wings, horns, and ability to breathe fire."
"It never made sense to me. Dragons aren't all harmful on purpose," Leafy sighed. "It got worse when it was rumoured that one of those dragons was his own brother, too. There was no evidence for that, so it was just backlash from the public."

Evil Leafy stood up, flicking her tail. The wind howled peacefully as she stared in the distance, with sombre thoughts filling her mind.
"What if that's your purpose? To unite all of us together again," She smiled.
"That would be nice, but I am not fit to rule a kingdom. I never wanted that."
"We can find someone else to do that. A relative of the King... you just need to keep the bloodline going, is all."
"What if we can't find someone willing? I don't even know anyone related to the kings! Family gatherings never occurred, and I was never told about anything about relatives."
"Even so, you can find someone you trust. It's that or just accept that you were meant to rule the kingdom."
"I'll think about it."

Droplets began to stream from the sky. When you start to row a boat and the clouds become grey and rain begins, you know it's going to be a risky ride. Gelatin knew storms would be a danger, especially since he had never rowed a boat before, but he doubted that it would be too much of a problem. Now, it was demonstrating that it was very much a huge problem. Silently, he was praying that it wouldn't get much heavier, but he doubted that those prayiers would be met.

Preparing for a risky ride, he began to rapidly spin the oars, in a desperate attempt to dodge a potential storm approaching. If this ship went down with a stom, he knew his mission would fail. Battering against the ocean could be heard, and he knew that this would be a difficult ride.

Waves emerged and smacked the side of his boat, and he knew there would be little hope of getting through this on a small row boat. He wouldn't let that stop him, as he had a mission to fulfil. He fought against the waves and flung himself forward messily. It wasn't much further as the sea raged against him and seemed to want him to fail. Ignoring the warnings and ignoring the ocean, he was left to fight a potentially losing battle. He swore he would win against nature, and he would certainly win against that dastardly dragon.

Retaliation was quickly met as the ocean grabbed his boat and shook it around as much as possible. The dark skies made it hard to see, but he knew if he kept launching himself forwards, he would eventually reach the end goal. The rain and storm would be a pitful attempt to try and stop his wrath: he would win no matter who he would have to take down.

Slowly, the storm began to die down. Almost as if nature had pitied the poor lone knight that foolishly attempted to sail out to see despite the cloudy sky warning him not to. The sail had begun to become smooth again, and the knight sighed of relief. His commitment to this would pay off, and he would be able to win the fight. For himself and for Loser. He made a promise, and he was hellbent on making sure he wasn't a failure.
