Season 5/Chapter 17: The First Group

The group beings to talk about the visiting groups and who will be where until they come to the conclusion that it'd be best to travel like so. The first group will be Molly, Evelyn, Maria, Y/n, Clem, AJ, and Violet. The second group will be James, Louis, Aasim, Tenn, Willy, Ruby, Omar, Rosie and Molly. Mainly because Molly's going to be the one guiding them back and forth as she is the connection between them and Alexandria. 

Molly: So it's settled, I'll radio Michonne. 

She gets up and walks away from the table as the others who are going first do the same. 

Y/n: With this going on, we'll probably be gone a few days. Maybe a week at most. Think you guys can handle our absence? 

Aasim: It'll be fine. I'll keep these guys from getting killed by their own stupidity. Mainly Louis. 

Louis: Hey! 

Y/n: Good man. Aasim is going to be in charge until we come back, so just keep it in mind. 

He looks at Aasim. 

Y/n: Don't go all Dictator-y while we're gone. 

Aasim: Hey, I got it. Don't worry about it man.

Y/n shakes his head and he helps Clem up as she grabs her crutches. Everyone going goes into the school to grab their stuff while Molly contacts Michonne by using the radio. Luckily for her, it's still in range though just barely. The radios they use are special, at least amped up by their home guy Eugene. 

Molly: Hey, Michonne? You there? 

There's a pause and some static before a voice comes through. 

Michonne: (Radio) Yeah, I'm here. What's going on? 

Molly: So I kind of convinced the others to check out the place. But they're coming in groups, first is me and some others while the second will again be me and the rest. It's about seven in the first group including me and nine in the next, again, including me and a dog. We should be arriving in two days thanks to the truck that New Richmond gave us. 

Michonne: (Radio) Alright. Good to know. 

She turns off her radio and continues to on into the school where she grabs her things as well. Things are starting to pick up and by the end of the day, hopefully they'll be back on the road. Their truck they were given by New Richmond will surely speed things up by a lot, and three can fit in the front while the rest can ride in the back. While inside the school, however, Violet, Clem and Y/n are gathering their stuff. 

Y/n: So should we bring like an extra pair of clothes or two? 

Violet: Yeah. I hope we're not there for too long but it's always good to have extra on you just in case. 

Clementine: She's right. Especially if it's to rain sometime over however long it'll take to get there. 

Y/n: Shouldn't take too long in the truck. Have I told you about it? 

Violet and Clem nod. Violet is standing up by Y/n and putting clothes in a bag while Clem sits on the bed by her crutches. She's looking at her missing leg as she listens to them talk back and forth with each other. For some reason, she can still feel the toes as if they were still there but of course it's not. Just Phantom Limb syndrome.  

Violet: It's the one those New Richmond people gave you right? 

Y/n nods back. 

Y/n: Yeah. We've got extra gas for at least two more full tanks in the back in a jerry can. As long as nobody tries to pop our tires in the coming days, we'll be spick and span.
