BOBBY'S POV

It's Friday afternoon, and all I want is to get out of here. I'm tired of hearing my teacher talk about things I don't even understand. My foot taps the floor as I stare at the clock above the chalk board.

I see my girlfriend, Y/N, glance over her shoulder towards me. "Five more minutes." She mouths.

I smile back at her. I liked that she was in my math class. Since it's the only class we have together, it gives me something to look forward to whenever I need to learn about equations I will never need in the real world.

The teacher goes on until the sound of the bell disrupts him. "Class, you'll need to finish the numbers 24-30 for Monday. Have a good weekend!" He smiles as if he didn't just give us homework to do over the weekend. Ew.

I close my books and join Y/N at her desk as she gets up and pushes her chair. "I'm so excited to get out of here!" I exclaim. "I can't wait for tonight."

Y/N smiles up at me. I was spending the night at her house. Her parents were starting to trust us with spending the night together, and I was going to do everything in my power to not break that trust.

We walk out of class into the busy school hallways. Everyone is just in a rush to get home and enjoy the sun. Summer was getting closer, so that just made everyone more eager to get out of school.

Y/N and I stop by her locker to grab our things. "What are you doing?" She asks as I throw my math books in her locker.

I look at her. "Let's be serious here, Y/N. I won't actually be doing my math homework this weekend."

"I'll give you my answers if you bring your books." She smiles.

"Fine." I sigh jokingly. Y/N laughs and closes her locker. We make it out to my car, and I open the passenger side for her. She thanks me before I close the door.

"Wanna go out for ice cream?" I ask her once I get in the car.

"Mmm," she hums. "That sounds good."

"Alright then, treat's on me." I tell her so she doesn't argue with me at the cash register about how she feels bad that I want to pay for her.

We get to the ice cream shop, and we order our usual flavors: chocolate for me and cookies and cream for Y/N. And on waffle cones, obviously. We sit down at the table that we always sit at and talk about our day.

"Did you hear that Jeremy is getting suspended?" I ask Y/N.

"Oh my, god. Again? What for?" She asks with knitted eyebrows.

"He clogged the urinal with toilet paper in the locker room, and it flooded the thing. He got a whole week's worth of suspension, and when he comes back, he'll have to help the janitor clean around the school."

"I feel bad for him." Y/N says. "But he never seems to learn. You'd think after being suspended five times, you'd know better by now."

I nod in agreement.

"Enough about Jeremy and urinals; are you excited for tonight?" I ask Y/N.

"Yes." She smiles. "I'm so happy my parents are letting us sleep over at each other's places now. My dad was talking to me the other day, and he told me how he thinks that you're nice and he hopes that you'll always have good intentions with me."

"Of course, Y/N." I say. "I'm gonna do whatever it takes to keep that trust between me and your parents."

She beams brightly at me, reaches underneath the table, and interlocks her fingers with mine. I squeeze her hand tightly, and we continue to talk about whatever comes to mind.

Back at Y/N's house, her parents announce that they're going out for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday.

"There's some money on the table for you guys to order a pizza. We'll be out late, and your sister is at her friend's for a sleepover, so make sure to lock the door when we leave." Y/N's mom tells her daughter.

"No worries, mom. We should be fine." Y/N says. We're sitting on the couch watching a game show that we stumbled upon.

"Don't get in any trouble now." Her dad smiles at us before they head out the door.

Y/N looks over at me. "What do you wanna do?"

"Umm, how about this?" I lean in and gently caress her lips. She smiles against me and puts her hands on either side of my face. I lean in more until Y/N falls back on the couch. I hover over her and slide my hand under her arm to tickle her.

"Bobby! Stop!" She yells out with a laugh, pushing me off her. "You totally just ruined the moment."

"Just having a bit of fun. Besides, we've got all night." I grin.

"Not if you keep teasing me like that. You'll be sleeping on the floor beside my bed if you don't stop." She says, trying to put on a tough act.

"Yes ma'am." I smiled, knowing it made her feel some type of way when I said that to her. Y/N blushes and tries to brush it off by asking me if I was hungry.

"I'll order the pizza for delivery." She walks into the kitchen and grabs the phone. "Is all meat good?"

"Anything you want." I reply. She calls the local pizza place and places an order under her name.

Later in the night, Y/N and I go up to her room to watch a movie. I always thought her room was fancy because she has a TV in it and can actually keep it clean, unlike me.

"Do you wanna watch Grease?" She pulls out the VHS and shows it to me.

"Sounds good." I say, getting cozy in her bed. "Does it take a while for you to make your bed in the morning?" I ask.

"Not really. Why?" Y/N jumps up next to me, covering herself up in her blankets.

"You have a lot of pillows to place, just wondering." I say it with a shrug.

I cuddle up next to Y/N, the heat radiating off our bodies keeping us warm while the movie plays. I rest my hand on her thigh and gently brush my thumb against it, knowing it brought her a sense of comfort when I did this.

"We should do this more often." I speak softly to not disrupt the movie. Y/N doesn't answer. I looked down at her to see if something was wrong, but little did I know, she was fast asleep.

I smile to myself, leaning down to give her forehead a kiss. I reach for her bedside table to grab the remote and close her TV. I close her lamp at the same time and burry myself even more into her bedsheets afterwards.

"Good night, my love." I speak before drifting off to sleep.
