AT ELEVEN YEARS OLD Rhaella still had yet to claim a dragon as her own. Which may not seem young but in the Targaryen family children as young as two have their own dragon. Though Rhaellas eggs never hatched. The girl would like to say it didn't bother her but everyone knew it did. She was very sensitive to the matter and her elder brother made sure to remind her of it any chance he got.

On this particular day Rhaella was watching Aegon from her balcony as he pet his dragon. Rhaella watched with envy. Aegon had a beautiful dragon that was now fully grown, as he was one of the lucky ones to be born with a dragon.

As fourteen year old Aegon pet the spiky nose of his dragon Sunfyre he caught a glimpse of Rhaella from the corner of his eye. The boy knew Rhaella was jealous, even her twin had recently got his own dragon so that left just the girl. She felt like she was missing out on something. Aegon knew that feeling all to well. He looked up at Rhaella making eye contact before waving her down to him. The girl gave him a confused look to which Aegon rolled his eyes. "Come down here Ella"

"Why?" Rhaella yelled back

"Your loss" Aegon shrugged turning around in attempt to get his sisters interest and it worked.

"Wait up im coming" Rhaella made a dash to her door and ran down flights of stairs, ignoring her mothers calls of worry. Rhaella made it to the dragon stables in a minutes too but very out of breath. "What is it you wanted to show me Aegon?" she was excitedly

"I thought maybe you would like to go for a ride on Sunfyre with me?" Aegon suggested

"I've never rode on a dragon before is it dangerous"

Even though this was all Rhaella had ever dreamed of she was still a bit hesitant when it finally became reality.

"Just hold on tight you'll be fine" Aegon smirked

"What if mother finds out?"

"Do you want to come along or not?" Aegon said, already tired of his sister's questions. This is what he gets for being nice.

"Yes I want to go" the redhead nodded

"Come on than before mother is looking for you" Aegon lighted the girl onto Sunfyre as she was not yet big enough to climb up herself.

"He's not going to eat me is he?" Rhaella went on with another question

"Don't be a imbecile.. he would never, not unless I had him" Aegon laughed "are you ready?"

"Yes beyond ready" Rhaella smiled

With that Aegon had Sunfyre take off above the clouds. This was like nothing Rhaella had experienced before. The air was colder and more fresh up here. The sun was setting so the sky looked pink. It was almost out of a fairytale. The castle looked even more beautiful from above. That was the moment that Rhaella decided she would do anything she could to have her own dragon and wouldn't stop until she got it.

"What do you think?" Aegon asked Rhaella who was still glued to the view

"This mesmerizing really" she said in awe

"Now do you see why I'm always up here?"

"Most definitely. Don't worry I'll be coming along from now on" Rhaella giggled

"I don't know about that" Aegon said "just be greatful I took you once"

THAT NIGHT AFTER Sunfyre had landed safely without eating the head off Rhaella. The girl snuck out of her warm silk covers and into the cover of darkness that she called dragon stone. The hallways were long and cold. Rhaella had lived in the castle for her whole eleven years of life and she still managed to get lost in the hallways.

Rhaella snuck out of her quarters, her heart pounding with anticipation. Earlier that night she made the decision to go find herself a dragon. She didn't see the point in sitting around waiting for one to come to her. That could take years maybe even never, and quite frankly she didn't have the patience for that. The girl made her way to the dragon stables, hoping to catch a glimpse of the majestic creatures that held such power and prestige. As she cautiously approached, her eyes widened in awe at the sight of the dragons, their scales shimmering in the moonlight.

However, her presence did not go unnoticed. A dragon she knew by the name of Ghost, who had not yet found an owner, spotted Rhaella and perceived her as a threat. With a menacing growl, Ghost lunged towards her, his fiery breath ready to strike. Rhaella's heart raced as she stumbled backward, fear coursing through her veins. Maybe it wasn't her brightest idea to go into the dragon stables unattended. She could feel the dragons warm breath wafting in her face as she squeezed her eyes shut in fear. She was sure that was it for her, the girl was just waiting. As almost if it the god himself saving the young girl, a mighty dragon named Cannibal, known for his strength and brutality swooped in to Rhaella's rescue. With a deafening roar, Cannibal confronted Ghost, his massive wings unfurled and scales glistening. Almost immediately Ghost backed off, everyone knew not to go against Cannibal. He got his name for a reason after all. He was know I'm dragonstone as the most heartless and vulgar dragon.

In that moment Rhaella felt like a unique bond formed between the herself and Cannibal. The dragon saw something in Rhaella, a true and worthy Targaryen. Perhaps it was the fact that the girl had balls, I mean at eleven she broke into a unattended dragon stable. She had spirit and potential, he claimed Rhaella as his rightful owner.

Rhaella wasn't sure how exactly she would explain to her mother that she now had a dragon friend without getting reprimanded. But she couldn't wait to rub it in her brothers faces. She had her own dragon.

THE NEXT MORNING Rhaella had her brothers meet her in the garden where Cannibal was waiting for them

THE NEXT MORNING Rhaella had her brothers meet her in the garden where Cannibal was waiting for them. She was going to suprise them and most likely scare them too. Especially because they didn't expect the cannibal to be Rhaellas so when they see the big dragon waiting for them in the garden unattended the girl was sure they would pee their pants.

"What did you have to show us El?" Aemond called to his sister curiously

"My new dragon" the girl smiled excitedly

The boys instantly erupted with laughter

"You? Dragon?" Aegon laughed "that's a funny joked"

"It's not a joke Aegon look" The girl knew her brother wouldn't believe her, that's why she had the proof ready. She pointed at her dragon in the distance. "Cannibal come over here" Rhaella called out to the beast as if it were a dog. Her callings worked though as he came over to him.

"How did you manage to come up with a dragon over night?" Aemond asked astonished "does mother know?"

"Not yet.."

"I will say that's quite impressive for you." Aegon gave approval "I guess we can go on rides now. If you promise you dragon wont eat Sunfyre."
