RHAELLA ENTERED THE COMMON ROOM to see Helena and her Mother already in presence. "Good evening" she smiled. Unlike most Rhaella wasn't very found of her Mothers presence. Maybe as a child she was but once her age hit she felt like she was always walking on eggshells around the woman. That called for formality's.

"Your later than normal." Helena stated the fact that Ella was hoping to go unnoticed.

"I suppose I got caught up in the library." Rhaella played it off with a laugh, sitting down.

"Did you have any company." Alicent looked to her younger daughter curious.

Rhaella knew she was better off just being honest. The truth always seemed to catch up with her. Especially when it involved the Queen. It was only a problem to be with her brother if she made it seem like a problem. "Yes Aegon happened to come along."

Alicent hummed as she continued her embroidery. "You two have been spending a lot of time together?" She spoke as if it was a question.

"No more than normal." Rhaella tried her hardest not to roll her eyes at the subtle interrogation. Alicent nodded her head showing that she had no more questions. The red head let out a sigh of relief. She could now continue her embroidery with ease.

She worked her nimble fingers fast, trying to finish up the last details on her corset. Which being her Dragon Silvermist's wings. This was a older project so she was already close to done. The girl almost found it humorous to give such a menacing dragon such as hers a name like that. When Aemond and Aegon found out their little sister names the cannibal Silvermist they almost died of laugher. "There!" Rhaella said proudly when she finished the corset.

"Is there anything else you could do sweetling? You finished awfully fast" Alicent asked Rhaella.

Rhaella thought maybe I'd she could get her hands on one of Aegons plain tunics that she could embroider Sunfrye on it like how she did for her own. Would that be weird to ask? Surely her mother wouldn't get the wrong idea. Maybe she would do the same for Aemond after to draw less attention. "I was thinking if you have a tunic of Aegons I could do something to it?"

"Aegons you say?" Alicent looked up from her work "hmm.." "I'm sure I have something around here." The Queen stood up looking around for what Ella assumed to be a tunic.

Rhaella turned her head to her right side over at Helena who smiled.

Helena had her suspicions on Aegon and Rhaella. Since kids Ella saw something in the man that Helena herself certainly could not. If the blonde was being honest with herself she smiled out of relief. In hopes that her suspicions were right, they normally are, and that Aegon and Rhaella were inlove. Because she certainly did not want to marry that man.

"Here you go." Alicent handed the princess a dark blue tunic.

"Perfect. Thank you." Rhaella smiled, starting to map out the dragon. She came to the conclusion to put both wings on either side of the opening. The girl was quite excited to give her brother the surprise, she would make sure it was her best work and nothing less.

A few moments had gone by before Alicent remembered how to speak it seemed. A few moments of contempt was all Rhaella got. "So I take it you overheard my conversation with Aemond?" Alicent asked. Even Helena looked confused, Rhaella forgot her sister was almost completely out of the loop.

"Indeed so." Rhaella answered

"You do not approve of my match?" Alicent asked for clarification.

Rhaella nodded her head yes. She didn't know why exactly she couldn't love Aemond love her mother was asking her to. He would treat her amazing, she knew that. He was handsome and respectful. He would be a great husband... but he wasn't Aegon. Rhaella couldn't say why or defend her reasons. At least not at the moment but they were reasons none the less.

"You wish to marry Aegon?" Alicent asked her face scrunched up

"Yes. Yes I do." Rhaella hoped she wouldn't regret her words. Four words that could make such a impact on her life.

"Don't say that." Alicent shook her head dramatically.

"What?-"

"Rhaella please don't. You don't understand what you are getting yourself into. Do you know the kind of man he is?" Alicents voice was getting more intense by the second.

"Mother calm-" again the princess was cut off. Helena's face was full of sorrow. Ella felt terrible for her sister, she couldn't imagine how she felt. Here her mother was telling one daughter she was to good for a man that she wanted to pin on the other daughter.

"No Rhaella I wont you are young, naive. He will ruin that. Do you know about his flea bottom whores. Or how he drowns himself in alcohol?" Alicent yelled. She was sure that Aegon could probably hear them from his chambers.

"Well maybe he wouldn't have to do that if you didn't put so much pressure on him." Finally Rhaella yelled. She never liked raising her voice but she knew Alicent wouldn't back down until she got a ride out of the girl. "How can you sit here and act as if I am to good for Aegon but than try to send Hel off with him? Id Hel no good to you either?" Rhaella brought her thoughts to speech.

Alicent sighed in defeat. "Very well if this is what you so badly want. Don't say it didn't warn you child." "Go on now." Alicent waved Ella off no longer wanting to be in her presence.

Rhaella did not want to be in the woman's presence any longer either. With tears in her eyes the girl ran to the only place she could think to go. The only place where she could find some comfort.

"Ellie what's wrong?" Aegon said beyond worried for the smaller girl who appeared into his room red as a beet, covered in tears.

Ella just hugged the man, not wanting to let go. She was afraid, afraid she lost her mothers love forever. Afraid that maybe she lost Aemonds love aswell. Everything was changing and so fast. The girl desperately wished she could freeze time.

"It's okay darling." Aegon rubbed the girls head still unaware what the matter was.

Rhaella nuzzled her face into his chest. "I think mother betrothed us." She mumbled incoherently.

"What is it? I cannot hear you." Aegon asked lifting her head.

"Mother betrothed us." Rhaella repeated

"What?" Aegon asked before the realization hit. "That is amazing news what are you crying." Aegon smiled out of genuine happiness and picked up the girl to spin her around.

Rhaella looked into his eyes knowing, still sad and Aegon realized there was a catch. "But she agreed in vain. She said I would regret it. She said you would cheat on me with whores and ruin me. What if she hates me now?" Rhaella bombarded the man with her worries one after the other.

Aegon frowned. He was aware what his mother had thought of him but to make Rhaella doubt his loyalty to her was much to far. "She may be right about one thing. You are to good for me. you are a Angel on earth, but by gods grace you See something in me that I don't even see in myself and I swear by your good name that I would never do anything to tarnish what we have. No whore, no drink, nothing Ella. Just me and my now betrothed."

Aegon put water on the fire of what was Rhaellas worries. "The man you are Aegon Targaryen." She smiled

"Now wipe your eyes darling, this is a day of celebration." Aegon wiped the girls tears.
Aegon thought Rhaella was the most beautiful, intriguing woman in the realm. He would make it his life's duty to show her a love she deserved and treat her like the princess she is.

That was when it clicked in Rhaellas mind. She loved Aegon. That was why she couldn't marry Aemond, that was why she couldn't love him. She needed no other reason beside she was hopelessly inlove with Aegon Targaryen. She always had been, even when she herself was oblivious to it, and so the night ended with just that. Aegon in her company and her newly acknowledged feelings heavy on her mind.
