"Chapter Six"

Next morning, I slept in. I definitely needed it. I had got up and stretched and throw something on. Luckily no one knows I even left for almost a day. I would sit outside and hearing whispers. I heard my name about me. I just shrugged it off, eating a breakfast.

"Hey, you." A voice said.

I didn't pay them no mind, drinking the apple juice.

"I'm talking to you, Lumi."

I continued to ignore, not in the mood for confrontation at seven am.

"Listen, I know you can hear me!!" The voice pitch got louder.

I finally turned towards the direction. I figured it was Audrey after she spoke the second time.

"Oh hello, Audrey." I said with a fake polite smile.

Time to kill with kindness.

"Don't "hello!" Me!" She said annoyed.

I instead just awkwardly laughed.

"Why not? Isn't it polite to not say hello to someone?" I said in a joking manner.

Audrey's face turned pink in anger.

"I know that you ran away yesterday. I tried to stop Ben. What are you hiding, Lumi?"

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Chad Charming, one of Evie's old crushes, holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Audrey." I said trying to get her attention.

"Oh come on, don't dodge my question."

"Audrey." I repeated.

"What?" She finally responded annoyed as I dart my eyes to Chad.

Even if I hadn't been gone for long but after spending time here for a bit, I saw Chad and Audrey spending more time together, it's so obvious. Although I guessed with Chad, he gets with anyone pretty. Though I know he doesn't try with me because he knows he'd had to go through Ben. Audrey approached Chad while I finally had the opportunity to slip away.

While I could find something to do, I rather not risk drawing any (more) attention to myself. Once I finished eating, I went back to my dorm room to lay down and think.

I thought back to everything. To be honest, I feel bad. I know I had to fake everything just to please VKs but I think all of us changed. Every single one of them fits in and doesn't want to be evil. I can tell Mal loves it here — despite she's still going with the plan.
I heard my door knock. Ugh. I just want some alone time. I would get up and open the door... to see Ben.

"Ben?" I said surprised.

"Hey, I just had to get a few minutes with you." He said as I let him in.

"What's up?"

"Well... I had discussed with my parents." He said as he sat on my bed and I sit next to him.

"Mhm?" I said listening to him.

"I want you to be closer to me during coronation. I even asked for your friends to be sat closer with you, too." He said warmly with a huge grin.
