After getting back from the city to look at records, I also went to the library as well and checked out more books (the librarian wasn't keen, but I was able to turn in ones I already finished). I opened the records... I know I'm trying to be good — but I had to do one bad thing. I used my thumb to go through.

Wait... now I do remember living somewhere warm and dark and seeing all the villains coming and going. If only I know some magic to find out what secrets that's hiding. I then skimmed through and saw it mentioned me being mischievous, bad, dangerous... and the accident.

Maybe... maybe my memory is blocking out everything trying to make me innocent. I looked my hands again, maybe I need to...

I heard my doors open and I immediately put the record and book about the lost under my bed.

"Hey, Lumi." A voice greets as I awkwardly stood there.

It was Ben.

"Oh... hey."

"Bad timing?"

"Not at all!" Here we go with the lying again, "I didn't expect you to come back."

He smiled, rubbing his neck.

"You see... I know it's last minute but my parents are hosting a party celebrating of my coming as king. I've told them the news and they do want to meet you... formally." He explained still rubbing his neck.

I mean... I wanted to stay and find more answers about myself but... I can't hide all day. I know Mal's making everyone not speak to me right now.

"Sure I think I might have to skim and find an old dress." I said as he nodded and left the room.

I would head to my closet skimming through. I found a baby blue dress I made back in the towers. I stared at it then walked towards the window, thinking back about the tower. I know I always wanted to find the truth about myself. I know I'm evil and I feel conflicted on my true self. Is my purpose to be evil?

I would quietly sigh and grab it and then change. Once I put it on, I used the mirror. I just can't help to feel something's... wrong. If I was a good person, I wouldn't not been on the lost nor put in that tower. I would've been in Aurodon. Being... normal.

I heard Ben's footsteps behind me and I saw his reflection. Okay, Lumi. He cannot know you got your hands on files that you stole...

Yea... stole. I feel... disgusting.

"You look amazing..." He said softly as I immediately warmly smiled.

"Thank you." I responded.

He held out his hand and I smiled. Internally, I'm taking one big deep breath. I need to stop panicking over everything. I can't be a bumbling girl that's always looking behind my back. That's what I promised myself and I need to commit to that promise. Ben escorts me to the limo.

"Sorry parents insisted on the limo."

I smiled.

"It's fine."

He lets me in first as I got in and sit down and he sits next to me, holding my hand. I warmly smiled towards him before looking out the window.
