"Chapter Nine"

Next morning I started to show up to school. Although Fairy Godmother suggested to me to take a longer break, I can't continue hiding and be off Scotts free because of everything I did and because of Queen Leah.

Although there was quite a lot to catch up on: I was able to catch up smoothly with the help of Mal.

"Lumi." A voice said as I walking past to class.

I turned my head to see Audrey. She hasn't bother me much... wonder what does spoiled princess has to say?

"Yes?" I asked holding the book close to my hands.

"I have one final deal."

Oh no here we go.

"And?" I said with an eyebrow raise.

"Back away from Ben, go back to the Isle with your friends. And I'll have everything cleared."

I stared at her.

"Do you I'd accept to that?"

Audrey grinned.

"Yes."

I shook my head.

"My answer is still no." I paused, "May I suggest just something? I would give up. This is quite old and boring now." I suggested in still a polite manner.

Audrey's face turned read, making an almost loud scream. I then saw Ben wave towards me as I approached.

"Hey, beautiful."

"Hey, darling." I said as we we greeted each other with a kiss.

"Audrey bugging you again?"

I looked at her as she stomps off, having a tantrum.

"Not really. She just needs to be reminded that I am going to stay and never leave."

He smiled as he held his hand.

"Good." He paused, "Anyways, I told Coach I'd help you catch up for today."

I smiled.

"You didn't have to."

He kissed my knuckle.

"For you? I'd do anything."

I blushed a bit.

"Shall we help you catch you up then?" Ben asked as I nodded.

Later...

Ben was able to help me catch up on almost everything. He had left about an hour ago and I went back to my dorms. Although it is tempting to go flying again since it's been awhile... I can't risk it. I was left alone in the dorms but I didn't mind the peace and quiet. Until I heard... scratching on my door? I would get up and then open my door to look around and looked down to see Dude.

"Oh hey, aren'tcha suppose to be with Carlos?" I said towards Dude.

Dude didn't say anything, but I can tell he looked bored.

"Dude much I'd love to play fetch with you... I gotta study."

But dude let himself in. I just slowly blinked in confusion as he got up on my bed.

"Are you mad at Carlos?"

Dude barked once. Which I presumed it was a no.

"Then what is it?"

Dude just stared before letting out barks. I tried to understand and put the puzzle pieces together...

"So you're bored, but you don't want to play?"

He barked twice. So yes.

"Then what do you want to do?"

He made a grunting noise as he rests his head on my assignments.

"Ooooh... I get it now. You just want to keep me company since Carlos and the others are busy?"

He frantically barked as if he said "ding ding ding! We have a winner!"

I laughed as I pet him.

"I appreciate it, dude." I said as he licks my nose gently making me laugh.

I continued to study and work on assignments. But I can't let dude just lay around and be bored. I looked up, thinking of something to have dude occupied. I had an idea but... let's see first.

Hey, Ben. You got a few minutes?

Ben seen it but didn't respond until three minutes later.

I got a few minutes now. What's up?

Ben by any chance... is there last minute invitations?

Ben❤️:
Sadly no. All invitations had been sent out a year prior. 

Ben❤️:
What you have in mind?

I was thinking something... unique. Something that  isn't your normal one.

Ben❤️:
That's very interesting. Maybe can use them in the future?

I blushed.

We'll see. But get back to practice for your coronation. I just figure to ask you something.

Alright, love. Have fun studying.

I laughed before Dude barked.

"Alright, alright. I just figured to take a few minute break." I said towards Dude as I continued to cram.
