I stared longly out into the world. I would sit here everyday, watching the clouds and sunrise and sunset. It's routine if you've been here for a very long time. I wish to be out of this place. Only when I try to, the seal only locks me in. I've been cut out from the whole world. I still don't understand why. Then again, I can't remember much since all I known I was a little girl when I was put here.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something... I would shrug it off. It's probably some bird flying. I just sat there, keeping my silence and admiring the beauty of the world. Only... I looked down to see... humans? Wait... what's going on?! I would stand my guard. The noises got louder as they walked the staircase. It sounds like... metal?
I know it's a long staircase. 900 steps to be exact. It takes awhile to get from bottom to top but if you'd had enough endurance to it, those 900 steps would be a breeze. I knew it was gonna take whoever coming up a little while. I just closed my palms, sitting in my spot and wait patiently.
Two hours later...
After those few hours waiting, what it appears to be two guards heaving and puffing as I stood up.
"Who are you?" I said defensively.
Judging by the attire, they're not your ordinary guards but royal guards.
"You've been invited to come to Aurodon." One then spoke.
Invited? More like escorted. I know this is what I always wanted: but it seems sudden.
"And if I refuse?" I said.
"Then we'll have to leave you stay here."
"...Let me gather my things first." I spoke as I went to my bedroom to pack some clothes. I don't have much as well only an old hairbrush and toothbrush, the necessities.
Once I finished packing, I was ready to go.
Later...
After arriving, I saw I wasn't the only one "invited." I think they've noticed too.
"You a VK too?" One of them asked me.
Despite being closed off from the world: I had to teach myself the knowledge and read the tales.
"Not exactly." I put it briefly.
I wouldn't say I am a "villain," though...
A girl clinged onto the boy as he approached us.
"Welcome to Aurodon!" He greets.
"...Welcome." The girl said in a distasteful tone.
The VKs just stared at him while I too stared awkwardly.
"I'm Ben and—"
"And I'm his girlfriend Audrey!" Audrey said with a smile.
Not only a few minutes and I don't like her.
"No one asked," I said out loud.
VKs turned towards me as well Audrey.
"I beg your pardon?" She said offended.
"I like this girl," One of the guys said.
