I'm really sorry I didn't update on Thursday but I'm doing it now and will try my best throughout the holidays to update as much as I can and thanks to those who responded to my authors notes I will be starting a new story alongside this one soon and it's going to be nouis but I will also do a narry one as well so yeah there will be two new stories so look out for them much love x

ZAYNS POV
I ran over to his side and hugged him. "I missed you so much baby" I mumbled into the thin hospital gown, as I currently had my head buried in his shoulder. We pulled back after a while and I placed a kiss on his lips because I missed them and I didn't want to do it whilst he was asleep because I felt like it would be violating him.
"I missed you too Zaynie, I heard everything you were saying and that beautiful song you wrote me" he said in barely a whisper.
The doctor was in here waiting patiently whilst Maura and Greg were hugging Niall. You could tell they were both crying out of sheer happiness because you could hear the sobs escaping their mouths. I was in the corner to give Maura and Greg a bit of time with Niall because I was going to be staying here tonight so I thought they could have more time now.
Once they moved aside from Niall the doctor stepped forward.
"Niall is it alright if I ask you a few questions to see if your memory is okay?"
"Yeah, sure" I passed him a cup of water because his voice was hoarse so he needed it.
"Okay what's your full name?" The doctor asked, I really need to find out his name, I mean I've been here for the past month and I still don't know it.
"Niall James Horan"
"Okay when is your birthday?" He asked jotting down some stuff on his clipboard.
"September 13th 1993" the doctor just nodded and wrote down a few more bits.
"What year is it?"
"We'll I'm guessing it’s still 2013? I couldn't have been asleep for that long"
"Okay, well can you name everyone in this room and then we'll be done with this and then just a few more tests"
"That's my mom Maura, brother Greg and boyfriend Zayn" Niall said pointing at each of us as he recited our names.
"Okay well nothing is wrong with your memory obviously, but we are going to have to take you for an MRI scan and x-ray to see whether your brain is bleeding or not and if the is any internal damage and the x-ray is to see how your broken bones are doing and whether or not they are healing correctly. I will be back in about 10 minutes to collect you for the MRI first"
"Okay thanks doctor" Niall replied while a smile and small head nod. The doctor left and I stayed back letting Maura and Greg talk to Niall. Niall obviously noticed me not being over there and called me over so he could cuddle with me.
I slid into the bed, careful to not hurt him anymore. Even though we were only going to be like this for 5 minutes he still made himself comfortable by resting his head on my chest and wrapping his arms around my waist as well as he could without hurting himself. I let mine wrap around him loosely and we just sat there talking with Maura and Greg until the doctor came to take Niall for his MRI.
Once he left there was a silence but it was nice because Niall was awake so we could be happy. I left Maura and Greg to go outside for a smoke and to tell the boys Niall was awake.
I called Liam's phone because he always answers and waited patiently as it was ringing.
"Hey Zayn, what's up?"
"Well Niall's awake and I called you because I knew you'd answer, are you with the other two?"
"That's great! I am and is it alright if we come to the hospital to see how he is?"
"Yeah that's fine he has to have an MRI scan and x-ray but that shouldn't be too long, I'll see you guys soon then"
"Yeah, bye mate" he said before I hung up.
After finishing my cigarette I went back to Niall's room and sat talking with Maura and Greg until the boys came then we were just talking.
It wasn't too long before Niall was done and back in the room.
"How'd it go sweetie?" Maura asked when he was comfortable.
"Everything's fine, I don't have any internal bleeding and my bones are healing nicely but the doctor told me to rest"
"Go to sleep, me and Greg will leave and Zayns staying but the boys won't be here too long and will stay quiet so you can sleep" she said making her way over to him to give him a hug and kiss on the cheek, Greg just went over and hugged him.
"I love you bro" Greg said to Niall.
"I love you too" when they had left Niall asked me to cuddle with him again so we got back into the position we were in earlier. I was tracing circles into his hip that was covered by the hospital gown and heard him yawn.
"Go to sleep baby, I'll still be here in the morning"
"Okay, goodnight Zaynie, I love you"
“I love you too" it wasn't long still he fell asleep and I brushed the hair off his forehead and kissed it gently.
The boys and I talked for a bit until they decided they would go home considering it was quite late now. I said goodbye to all of them and then it was just me awake. I slid down further in the bed pulling some of the sheets over me, readjusting Niall's head on my chest as I did so and drifted off into sleep.

This is really short I'm sorry but I have to get up early tomorrow and its late now so I can't really think of anything. I will try my hardest to update tomorrow and Sunday and maybe I will be able to give longer chapters because I feel like I owe it to you guys.
