Finally found inspiration for this story! I will most likely delete my other story but if I get 100 reads by Saturday I won't so check it out. Enjoy the chapter :)

ZAYNS POV
I woke up to see that Niall was still asleep on my chest. I still wanted to propose so when he leaves the hospital I'm thinking of proposing, I just need to think of the perfect way to do it. I'm not too romantic but I want it to be special. To get the perfect proposal I'm going to need to think about it, however I need to get a ring as well. Maybe I could get that later on today because it'll be my only chance seeing as I want to get it done as soon as possible.
While I waited for Niall to wake up I put the telly on that was in the corner of the room, there wasn't much on so I decided to watch the re-runs of 'friends' they were playing. The doctor came in after the third episode had just started hoping to talk to Niall but since I was the only one awake he decided to tell me. I turned the TV off so he knew I was focused on him.
"Well Mr Horan has made a miraculous recovery, something we didn't expect to receive with the impact he suffered" he paused for a moment and then carried on with what he was saying "Because of the progress Mr Horan has made we only need to keep him in today and overnight just to monitor him and see whether his condition will worsen, considering the speed of recovery it may be too much for his brain and body to cope with so his body might shut down putting him back into a coma. On brighter news if he doesn't then Mr Horan will be able to leave tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon by the latest. If you could inform Mr Horan about the news when he's awake it would be much appreciated"
"Okay well thanks doctor-"
"Shay, doctor Shay"
"Well thank you doctor Shay, I'll let Niall know when he's up" Without another word the doctor walked out ready to go check on his other patients.
I turned 'friends' back on and just waited for either Niall to wake up or for Maura and Greg to come so I could give them the good news as well.
It was only another 15 minutes before I felt Niall start stirring in his sleep and it wasn't that long until I could see his crystal blue eyes shining back at me.
"Morning baby" I said before kissing his cheek.
"Morning" he said in his husky morning voice which made me melt on the spot.
"How are you feeling?"
"Good I guess, when do I get to leave?"
"Well the doctor said tomorrow morning, in the afternoon the latest"
"Really?!" I could see him getting excited and just nodded my head in response to his question. As soon after I did I got wrapped in a bone crushing hug, obviously because I hadn't expected it, it took a moment before I could react but as soon as I realised what was happening I hugged him back.
"I need to go out today but I won't leave until your mom and Greg are here okay?"
"Okay but why do you need to go? I was hoping to cuddle with you today"
"Well as soon as you're out of the hospital I have a special date planned out so I need to go get that sorted and I have to get something for you" He started getting excited again.
"Ooh where are we going? And no Zaynie you do not need to get me anything" smiling down at him I just replied with...
"You don't get to know you just have to wait and see and I do because it's important" I had finally figured out where I was going to take him on this date and had the perfect way to propose to him.
